Some of us would like to discuss it, but you're too afraid to take them off ignore because you're too embarrassed about your COVID silliness. But my comments on your 8 points: 1) Require all private guns sales be registered with the government. - Agreed. 2) Background screening for all gun purchases. - This is already the case, unless you're just reiterating point #1 all over again. 3) Increase buyback programs to get guns off the streets. - No buyback program has ever worked on this, and I've got numerous examples of failures. So knock yourself out, but its not a solution. 4) Mandatory minimum of 10 years for a drug or robbery crime committed with a gun. - Agreed 100%. You'll never get democrats to agree to this. 5) Destruction of all guns seized in crimes (unless it was stolen and the original owner is obvious). - Agreed 100%. 6) Make bump stocks illegal. - Silly, because these can be 3D printed quite easily so it accomplishes little, but again, knock yourself out. 7) Reduce allowed magazine sizes. - Also doesn't do anything as there are numerous ways around this and they can be 3D printed and there are way,way too many in circulation. 8) Get gun education back into schools (like when I was a kid). - Agreed 100% Lots of good suggestions, and some that won't have any effect at all.
You think about this a lot Arnie? Probably a similar expression for the far more men who learn their kid committed suicide or was killed by a gun.
You kinda have to remove gun deaths from illegal firearms first. Because you're not going to get those no matter what laws you pass. Gang bang shootings, drug deals, things of that nature. People intent on murder aren't going to surrender their gun because you pass another law. I've said many times that if you could magically get rid of all the bad guy guns, I'd give you mine as well. I'd love for my kid to grow up in a world without firearms. But you can't, so I won't surrender them.
Should be interesting to see how this works out and whether the school ever experiences an active shooter once this gets out. Of course, there are other risks to be considered now that faculty can be armed. But I doubt anyone tries to shoot up this school.
Nope. This should not be “interesting to see how this works out.” There should be no need for this. Your mind is so sick with guns that guns in school has become “interesting” to you instead just plain old fucking sad.
Such emotion and drama. Of course, I think you're way off base, but that's cool. You're entitled to your rant. But I actually do agree that it is sad that the teachers have to carry because bad guys might target the school. So we agree on that, I guess. But I'd rather have the teachers at my school carry than worry about my son's school getting shot up.
It’s just sick man. And I really don’t get how you all just accept it. Like you’re not even trying for your own children so you can have unregulated access to assault weapons. It’s sick. You should be fighting for your son!
