To be fair I don't think a reduction in activity or type of lockdown in serious areas was a bad idea for a finite period of time. It has been used in the past in emergency health situations to address spreading diseases. The political game of hiding the truth and lying about facts is what this a real shit show from Trump starting in late January and early Feb and the Democratic response thereafter. Why did lockdowns work in other countries and last shorter time frames? because they did not have the political shit show we have here.
There are no clean hands in this, it was a group decision with Trump at the helm. I have consistently said, if he wants all the credit when things are good, then he gets the heat when it goes south.
