Why doesn't amazon sell amazon coins that can be used for purchasing?

To the main question:

Because they understand that money is digital and fast enough as it is, and there is no need to add any more crap to their system.

 

why? when an issuer issues something, it is a liability on its book.

 

So why the dollar change in value if not just because?

 

when I was in the Military they used to give change in pogs. Not sure if that is still the case.
