Undoubtedly the best way is to code your own. Same with back testing engines. Neither rouite mean you will necessarily make any money out of trading. But it will certainly educate you in the markets.
For me a free one is the best one. Today, many websites are providing free charts with great built in functions for technical and statistical analysis.
Many of these free chart websites are only giving delayed data and a very limited amount of features which are then locked after using them for a couple of days. You should give TrendSpider a try under our free trial.
My favorite is obviously Bokkmap, because it is easy to use. It shows the high liquidity areas and the direction of the aggressors- basically allows to understand the movement of a stock.
