Years ago, when I made serious money, I bought a $1200 recliner(big bucks then) and put it down as an expense. One of those really nice, thousand dollar wall projector things you plug into your computer so you can walk right into the chart. Put that down as an expense also.
Bought some killer pot, sat in my recliner getting stoned and watching bigger than life movies on netflix. Did not put that down as an expense.

Forget about trading chairs and all the ergonomic nonsense advertised...If you are sitting in 90 degree hip flexion all day long, you are #$@^ed!!!!!!!!

No chair will save your spine...

Get off your lazy asses and buy an adjustable desk where you can stand...:)

mr taowave You were the original stand-up desk proponent. What would you recommend, what desks do you like?

Does anyone have any real feedback on an adjustable desk? Seriously considering one like this.

Depending on the value of your time, you might consider working from a mock-up quick-and-dirty tall support for 40 hours to see if the posture and logistics work Ok. If that's more trouble than blowing $700, then order one up, and if you like everything but the desk, order up a replacement desk based on what you have learned. Money back situation might apply to the first if shortcomings exist?
