Before I do leg work for you, for free; show me where you condemned the murder of Laquan McDonald first.
Happy to pass judgment on what happened to Laquan if you could tell me who he was again? Was he as big a deal as the whole nation burning down? Because you're obviously drawing a parallel so I want to make sure it is an apples to apples comparison.
Thought so. Show me where you condemned the killing of any minority by police prior to the current incident.
What a joke you are....LOL.... So you pick someone I have to google because I had never heard of him to see if I made a comment on these forums (please note that I have not made a comment on these forums for every single murder of every single African American) and this is supposed to excuse you not making a single post condemning riots that are burning down the country and the senseless violence going with it. This is the best you've got?
My apologies, I edited the post. Here it is: Thought so. Show me where you condemned the killing of any minority by police prior to the current incident.
This thread, where you posted, caused me to believe you knew of the case: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/chicagos-blacks-turn-against-rahmbo.323625/
First, I tend to avoid posting any opinion on the shooting threads on this forum because they are not as easily interpreted as the Floyd video. They usually start with some liberal here posting a "Black man murdered by cop" sensationalist thread, and invariably always start with claims of racism followed by "this shall not stand" type commentary and hyperbole. As days go by, more facts come out and in more times than I can count, the facts surface to show that the person shot actually was shot because they had a gun, or were attempting to attack the police, or were trying to apply deadly force back to the cops, etc. Reminds me of that "How Not To Get your Ass Kicked By The Police" instructional video Chris Rock put out. I also, as a disclaimer, have a good deal of friends in LE locally here and we train together, so I am predisposed towards listening to their argument first. In the Floyd video, there's just no excuse, so that one is an easy call. Most are not like that. That being said, here are posts I've made (a quick search pulled them out) where I was going off on the police for their actions on a given instance. You will, of course, come up with all sorts of excuses as to why these do not fit your criteria and use this as an excuse to why you have not condemned any of the riots and violence around the country (thinking one has to do with the other - it doesn't). This post was in response to cops placing drugs on someone at a traffic stop. In response to the arrest of two reporters Ryan Reilly and Wesley Lowery during Ferguson riots. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...wing-ajournalistsa.285703/page-4#post-4008165 Saying the police should be tried for manslaughter after shooting a guy in a walmart with a pellet gun https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...n-affluent-suburb.292111/page-18#post-4140443 Talking about how police psych tests are failing and how a superiority complex allows bad apples to get a foothold in the force. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...ge-thug-to-a-streetfight.311832/#post-4495654 Lamenting the behavior of police to subdue a citizen with force. Etc...there are others, but these turned up on a search for the word "police" and my username. The point - so very obviously - is that when presented with evidence, I review it careful and will pass judgment. If police act poorly, they should be prosecuted accordingly. But all evidence must be considered because it is a tough and dirty and thankless job that is subject to scrutiny many of us - you included - wouldn't pass each and every time. Violent encounters are fluid, mistakes happen. The Floyd video was so very obviously not a mistake and premeditated murder. If you can show me another video so very obviously murder (you can't) then you would have a point if I had seen it and hadn't commented. But this still doesn't change the fact that you have embraced rioting and violence, because you haven't condemned it.
