You should stay away from Twitter as your misinformation/disinformation news source. I have relatives that live in France and I myself live there part of the year. My relatives were protesting last week about the healthcare conditions in the hospitals. I will be returning back there this summer and will have my first hospital appointment there since my illness in 2016. I'll be able to better inform you about the conditions at the hospital in case you're interested in an accurate update. Also, in the meantime, you should learn more about the Rist law (loi Rist) that's currently being heavily debated and people are outraged...many protesting about being fined for missed healthcare appointments @ https://www.connexionfrance.com/art...-show-fees-for-GP-appointments-work-in-France In addition, the below factual information should help you better understand why are they protesting. Simply, there's a lot of crap occurring in the management of France healthcare system. We the French know how to protest. ---------- France's healthcare crisis: What you should know Lack of staff, burnout, medicine supply issues are among primary problems plaguing French health care France in recent weeks saw numerous doctors' strikes and protests: They protested and pushed for better wages and working conditions even as the country suffered a "tripledemic" of coronavirus, flu, and bronchiolitis. General practitioners, considered the second pillar of the French healthcare system, were on strike between Dec. 26 and Jan. 8, seeking better working conditions and raises in payments. One of the protesting doctors told Anadolu Agency: "150 people died in December in emergency units as they didn’t get treatment in time." https://www.aa.com.tr/en/health/frances-healthcare-crisis-what-you-should-know/2784361 France's doctors protest excruciating work conditions amid high demand With the surge of winter-related illnesses, the demand for medical care has increased beyond capacity for GPs and nurses. Why are they striking? The main reason is to call for a higher consultation fee, to help free up GPs’ time by hiring administrative staff. They are also opposed to the Rist law (loi Rist), which is being debated by the Senate this week. It comes after negotiations with the Assurance maladie broke down after two weeks of talks. The profession said in particular that the offer to raise the consultation fee from €25 to €26.50 only was a “provocation”. GPs – including from the collective Médecins pour Demain – have instead been calling for the fee to double from €25 to €50, to help pay for better upkeep of surgeries and to hire administrative staff that could give doctors back hours of consultation time per week. Even the major organisations of MG France and CSMF are asking for new fees that will be at least €30 per appointment. The European average is €46, the collective said (although the different types of reimbursement make direct comparison difficult). wrbtrader
Let me state it very clearly. This entire thread is just a compilation of absurd misinformation from anti-vax Covid-deniers that has already completely debunked. Keep in mind that Covid misinformation caused over 230,000 deaths in the U.S. which were preventable and millions of deaths world-wide. People who fabricate and actively spread Covid misinformation are basically murderers -- there is no other polite way to state it.
Of course, it is. Further, its SHOCKING that Baron allows this thread to remain in this Health & Science section when a lot of the message posts involve government, CDC, FDA, Fauci, Corruption, and linking to Tweets on Twitter that talk about the same. ---------- This thread has purposeful deceit...look at the forum title for this section and it should be obvious why he's not posting this thread in the other section of the forum (political section) especially when the fact is that a lot of topics in this thread is about Fauci, CDC, and government. The fact is this...the political section quickly buries Covid threads. Thus, a rant right now about pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine will be quickly buried by dozens of other topics within an hour or few hours...guns, shootings, election, china ballons, abortion and so on. Seriously, a thread about Abortion has a more meaningful placement in the Health & Science section than this thread. Yet, if you post a topic about health changes in a woman's body after an abortion...that thread will soon be moved into the Political section. When do Fauci, CDC, Face masks, and the government involve topics as described in this section of the forum about gaining muscle, losing fat, improving strength, and endurance ??? He may as well be talking about terrorists, jihabists, abortionists, religious cults, and pedophiles posting articles about keeping up their strength and weightlifting during a Covid Pandemic. In fact, he even apologizes for placing this thread in this section...an apology in the thread title "Sorry,...". That alone is self-incriminating about the purposeful deceit. Simply, he knows exactly and why he posted this thread in this section of the forum to avoid it being quickly buried in the Political section. Health and Fitness A forum dedicated to the art and science of gaining muscle, losing fat, and improving strength and endurance. It's like driving through a neighborhood with modern French architecture and then there's that one house/building that looks like something from the Ottoman period...no relationship to other buildings in the neighborhood. The only thing you can do is post counter-facts, laugh at the thread placement or ignore it. P.S. Many at the CDC played sports in high school or college. Would it be odd that this thread had been started in the Sports section of the forum ??? wrbtrader
