Which makes your argument that "having lived in these countries" is a valid "proof" that scadinavian socialism is a good thing and/or actually work, worthless. That is my point... Personal opinions are worthless. So, you have no point.
If thats your personal opinion then you have no point either..... but I can still choose to live where is best for me.
I'm told Brazil is still fun to visit despite him being there...Everyone gets laid all the time in Brazil they say. Why is newtrader so uptight?
That's how @NeoTrader rolls, read some of his other posts. He watched a YouTube video or read a book about Sweden, so he knows far more about it than the person who's lived there. Your experience is worthless in the face of his naive but pure logic! Which itself is pretty damn weak. Next up he'll be complaining about your "personal attacks" on him when you criticize the fact that he's pontificating on something he knows fuck all about and telling you that your experience living in Sweden is meaningless when discussing what it's like to live in Sweden. And then he'll regurgitate a bunch of quotes from his favorite authors as "proof", cause they're old and all. You just can't make this shit up. At first I thought he was a smart kid who was just a bit full of himself, but he's really straining the "smart" part of that assessment based on his posts.
In this thread, the point has been already made by @tomorton: "The Germany we see today became as wealthy as it is through capitalism. Its' got some stupid socialist policies but so has everywhere in the western world. Doesn't make them socialists and doesn't make socialism a desirable regime to live under. Sweden and the rest became wealthy through capitalism (and let's not forget imperialism), not socialism. Sure, they also have some socialist policies, but so does the UK and the US. I guess Japan does too but they're clearly not a socialist country." This is a historical documented fact... It is not a matter of opinion or subject for interpretation... The period in which countries such as the U.S and UK had their biggest growth was when they had the closest thing to a pure capitalist economy. Shit began when they went through the micex economy path. Good for you... And I have nothing against that... My problem with socialist parasites is that they want not only to choose where to live, but also to tell how the people who actually produce wealth spend their own money.
Crypto trader kids, don't you know they use fibs and Wolfie waves and stuff. Because the coinz traders are so basic that stuff still works. Wait for the bots boyz. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...wiss-bank-account.318945/page-12#post-4622589 He really does not understand the idea of keeping bad stuff in politics.
Well thanks for that. All the Swedes and Germans I meet think they are in a socialist countries (because of minor things like the governments being from 'social democrat' parties) and rich because of that.... will have to tell them they are all wrong then.
Well, I have lived in Austria and Italy and I have friends in Germany who disagree entirely with what you just said. So again... A matter of opinion. But these aren't relevant. What is relevant are facts... And facts are what @tomorton wrote. But, you're a socialist. So you enjoy living at the expense of others(the people who are forced to pay your little "social benefits", which you so proudly quoted)... With that in mind, you( and all your socialist buddies) will never admit facts and will always try to skew reality so that it fits your beliefs so that you can live with yourseves and say that "this is right". Even though I say this to you, I mean it in a general way, because this is the socialist "modus operandi"... It is the basis for all socialism, no matter where it is from... So, keep living in your dream world... I'm done here.
At the point that you can tell us you never went to public school, never driven on a public road, never flown on a plane using the U.S. ATC system, never used GPS, never used the internet, never used power, never used any technology or medication that was developed out of federal R&D tax credits or expenditure, never were protected by the existence of a police, fire, or ambulance department, never protected by the military...pretty much never taken advantage of anything that the U.S. has that Somalia doesn't, then you can complain about your precious money that the "socialists" are taking from you. Anything other than that and you're "living at the expense of others", most of us here in particular because I can guarantee we've all paid far more in taxes than you have. Most of us are mature enough to understand that socializing costs is not only necessary but highly efficient, someday you might as well. Until then, remind us all again why you're not moving to the utopia of Somalia where nothing is socialized and you get to keep all your precious?
Quite a few major assumptions here. Actually I don't live off anyone else. I have a high paying job and yes we pay high taxes for the social benefits. Certainly paid in more than taken out. If there were real facts there wouldnt be such differing opinions.
