Ukrainians mock Russian tank that broke down

    Ukrainians: You guys broke down?

    Russians: What?

Ukrainians: You broke down? Maybe you need a tow back to Russia.

    *Both sides laugh*

Ukrainians: Do you know where you're headed?

    Russians: No.

Ukrainians: Well you're headed toward Kyiv.

    Russians: What are people saying?

Ukrainians: Everything is going our way. Your side is surrendering well because none of your guys know where they're headed. I asked a whole caravan of guys like you and none of you know where you're headed.

  4. I hear ya.

Where I would join partially with Comrade Tard is that the Ruskies are an extremely mixed bag in some areas. This, I believe, comes from their punching far, far, far, above the weight of their small economy by committing a disproportionate portion of their resources to the military- such that they are state of the art and beyond in some areas and still on the hunting and gathering level in others.

I offer up the following very recent example: A few days I ago I read a report about social media and internet being shut off to the troops that were beginning to encircle the donbass area after a long trip there. One reporting source said that before they were shut off, some of the social media, or internet communications indicated that the soldiers were grousing about being sent out on (what they said was) a training exercise but they were hungry and were being expected to buy food out of their own pockets as they traveled. I thought to myself: "You gotta be shiiting me. The invasion has not even begun yet and these guys are hungry or at least traveling without food supplies- yet this is the same country that has supersonic missiles whizzing around just to show how advanced and ahead of us that they are." So it is a mixed bag. Very mixed.

But to your point, even if they did only last a week, that would be one helluva week with the buttons they have their fingers on.

As an aside, some of the Russian pow's that were being filmed by the Ukranians were also saying that they were told that it was a training exercise until the day they were ordered to go.

Funny you brought up the internet. I was telling someone last week that we should do to Russia what they did to our elections, hit social media hard as f with fake bs to fuel the domestic uprisings in Moscow, St Petersburg etc.

This whole thing is a powder keg. I just wonder what level of provocation it would take to push Putin over the edge where he just says f it and hits the big red button. I'd be willing to bet his generals have been ordered to let the nukes fly if a surgical strike were to take him out personally. Plus I remember reading something years ago that unlike us, there's not just one person (Putin) that has the ability to launch nukes. I think his submarine commanders and the folks in the silo's are allowed to make that decision too. Don't hold me to that though. But it was something like that.

Interesting perspective here in this vid . This guy saying the west have been poking the bear all along regarding Ukraine and NATO . They backed him into a corner leaving him no option .

  7. Putin certainly has Palace Guard problems that he needs to watch along with watching the entire west and Ukraine.

As one of the generals-pundit said: "Putin is ruthless, but so are the ones around him." As long as that ruthlessness is part of Team Putin it helps Putin. If directed at him, not so much. Putin's publicly humiliating his spy chief the other day was not a good sign. I don't know about this bit about Putin being ill or something, but he is looking paranoid and his speech was paranoid and he has good reason to be paranoid.

BS. Russia has no claim to other countries other then in Putin's head. NATO isn't the aggressor he is. No option ? Come on now has Russia not got enough land already ? It's a nation of cheats and drunks these days some of that has to be coming from the fool at the top.

It's not BS , it's true . They've stated many times they won't have a Nato member on their border .
And yes they're quite harsh and drink too much vodka .
