Maybe default? Aurora is the "normal" connect point. Maybe also try the free version of rtrader

RTrader has no problem. By the way, I think I found the culprit. It looks Bookmap corrupts Rithmic data feed in general. When Bookmap doesn't run, the issue doesn't happen. Even if I use aggregated quotes in Bookmap and other platforms, it still happen. I am waiting their feedback..... Crazy.

Once Bookmap corrupts the feed, after I kill Bookmap I also have to restart all the other affected platforms to fix latency issue.

This is beginning to sound like a Java versions/libraries issue.
    • Sudden onset...
    • Recent version(s) change
    • Works when _____ is shut down/removed from operative paths.

Do you have any access to the code?
Is there an error log anywhere about?

I don't think it's Java related issue. I have an idea. Tomorrow, I will connect my PC to mobile LTE network using hotspot. If that solves the problem, my issue came from my ISP. I called them and they deny they are culprit. If this is the case, I have to replace my ISP.

It's not your network. You confirmed that when you confirmed rtrader works fine.

Not necessarily your ISP. I assume both computers are wired via Ethernet (not via WiFi).

Could be one (or more) of several issues:
Your PC/drivers (I've seen a laptop using WiFi improve its throughput and ping time tremendously by ensuring the internal WiFi device's power savings mode was disabled)
Internal fans on your computers are clogged - CPU is getting too hot and throttling performance
Your local infrastructure (router, wiring etc.)
    Intermediate connectivity

What type of Internet connection do you have?
    What speed?

With nothing else running, what speed results do you get from speedtest.net?
    What ping?
    What jitter?

What happens if you select a test location closer to the server you're connecting to? What sorts of speeds do you get then?
    What ping?
    What jitter?

Now try it from the other computer too.

    Report back here.

I think this Rithmic latency issue is similar to the CQG latency issue I reported before:

I posted Youtube videos showing my issue:

<Compared R|Trader, Sierra Chart and Thinkorswim on PC>

<Compared Bookmap and MotiveWave on Mac>

My ISP sent a service man to check my Internet line quality and he didn't find any issue with my line. I also tried without router between the connections but it's no difference. Lastly, I attempted to test with mobile LTE hotspot connection on Mac but both Bookmap and MotiveWave didn't start when I used hotspot or VPN connection for some unknown reason (I guess it's Mac Catalina's issue). Unlike Mac, MotiveWave ran on PC as normal but I didn't have time to test this issue. I will test this more on Monday.

I am using too many platforms on the same computers and same Internet line. I think at least during the peak time, I need to use additional separate Internet line (ex. mobile LTE hotspot) at least for the execution platform to avoid bad fills.

Two issues I see that you didn't really describe:

    1. You are in Korea trying to access US sites. I think therein lies your issue. You've got a lot of intermediate networks involved to get to your destination. Throw in 1% packet loss along the way and things get ugly very quick.

    2. Your PC is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than your Mac on a speedtest. This shows something very strange on your Mac.

If it's true you have a 100/100Mbps connection, then that is PLENTY. It's not the bandwidth that is the issue - it's probably a packet loss issue with your ISP's upstream link(s) and intermediate links.

I recommend you look at a VPS solution instead - i.e. a smallish server located close to your broker. I think AMP even offer this. but I haven't tried them:

Thank you for good information. Yes, I also think my location is not ideal for U.S. Futures trading. My Internet line's expected max speed is 100Mbps but actual speed is vary. Except trading, I don't have any issue with web surfing or watching Youtube videos. As I want to use Rithmic, I will consider using VPS service from THEOMNE.NET. Unlike Forex, trading Futures is somewhat complex and costly..... :(
