Online Trading Academy's new platform - "Clik"

Discussion in 'Automated Trading' started by syswizard, Sep 27, 2019.

  1. This software has the potential to become mainstream if they are able to integrate multiple data feeds and broker interfaces. That's a big "IF". They are already one year into this venture.

  3. What did you expect after entering your email id ? Same thing happened to me when I registered with Larry McMillan's option website.....constant barrage of emails.

Not being on The Facebook, I have missed that part.....

But I get postcards whenever they're coming to town to sign up new victims, and I try to visit their dog&pony show when I can -- I like the mental gymnastics of trying to spot the first instances of bad logic/methods or over-reaching conclusions. AND they have great cookies served.

[Okay -- I go for the cookies. :D]

  6. The problem with OTA is they never extended their business model into prop trading. Maybe with the new CliK product they will have to do that. Otherwise, they will be in the trading platform sales business competing with Ninja, Multicharts, and the like.

  7. I always wondered how much the OTA franchisees gross per year. I know the trading education business gets a bad reputation, but the majority of enthusiastic neophytes who they target, many retired, will end up losing money in the market anyways. They're determined to gamble. As far as the financing shenanigans go, it's not much different than any lower tier education institution, where there is no guarantee of employment or income.

OTA is still around!? And lol at the "wizetrade" screenshot. Time sure does fly. So, it looks like OTA is surviving in whatever form and finally catching up to the modernized scam tradeucation industry. Making their own "clik!" platform and soon to come plethora of indicator "packages". Anymore attending at a city nearby attempting to snack on the free catering before their new monthly hired "associates" attempt to pressure upsell more "advanced" courses(?) Much of the old exposing discussion of OTA was right here on ET. Fun times reading those, hehe.

But now ripoff can be vigged and vendors can spam the page out.
