'I was just doing my job as President': Trump lashes out at DOJ after bombshell investigation report

Following a Tuesday night bombshell report from the Washington Post that the Department of Justice has opened a massive criminal probe into Donald Trump's attempt to steal the 2020 presidential election, the former president went on an early morning muti-post tirade on Truth Social.

As expected, after the Post reported that aides to Mike Pence have been providing investigators with insider information about the former president's fake elector plot, Trump began a social media campaign that mainly consisted of pointing fingers all over the place while also pleading, "I was just doing my job as President."

He then added, "People forget, this is all about a Rigged and Stolen Election. But rather than go after the people that Rigged and Stole it, they go after the people that are seeking Honesty and Truth, and have Freedom of Speech, and many other defenses, on their side! Justice Department should look at The Crime of the Century. Evidence is massive and irrefutable!!!"

We call it "Cheesy Moral Relativism".

Even most democrats don't want Joe Biden to be president. Only 25% of democrats want Joe to run again according to the latest polling.

If Joe is still alive by 2024 its almost certain that he will be challenged in the primary. If that primary was held today he could be beaten by any number of democrats.. even by an incompetent homosexual ex-mayor ineffective at his current cabinet post. Maybe even by Newsom whom I regard as the anti-Christ.

Trump, on the other hand, is polling vastly ahead of all other potential republican nominees. If he was to take DeSantis on as his running mate he would probably get elected... again. A lot of leftist cities would burn but if something has to burn those cities are probably the right fuel in the right places.

I would definitely vote for Trump again. Sure... I would love to see the economy improved, leftist policies rolled back, half of the deep-state federal employees fired and the USA extricated from European problems but I would be dishonest if I didn't admit that the entertainment value is a yuge factor.

People just need to step back and separate dubious character from stellar policies. Andrew Jackson was a piece of work but he advanced the interests of the United States immensely. Its about the policies and the strength to implement them.

    Trump-DeSantis 2024 baby!

I don't want to vote for Trump, but if it is the only option I have, then so be it.

Nor do I but the conditions that would have to exist for me to vote for a democrat nominee would be extraordinary, like Pence or Romney or a McCain clone being the republican nominee.

I'll never vote for a weak moderate or a rhino again and might even pull the lever for the democrat.

You and I have the most to lose here. We might be giving up our magnificent Governor. Its a real sacrifice.

True, and I agree we have the most risk - but I also believe that it would be very easy for DeSantis to endorse the next governor, of which we would then benefit from a President DeSantis as well as the next potential DeSantis in Florida. It would be come the stronghold of the new Republican Party. Kinda is anyway.
