handle123 is likely Asperger's but definitely some additional comorbidity there. Recall his signoff thread where he was going to travel; tickets in hand. He posted non-stop after that thread. As in daily. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/handle-has-left-the-building.301337/#post-4306648
I haven't been around here all that long, but his holier than thou shit got real tired, real quick. I can't imagine how others dealt with it for so long. So boorish.
What does it say about the participants to a message board when the top two (likes) are complete sandbaggers?
What I find interesting is much of this started with your trading competition. It was the pursuit of showing who can put their money where their mouth is that caused all of this to happen. Perhaps @Baron should implement some sort of changes where traders who actually trade, perhaps traders who don't mind going through some sort of vetting process, could be highlighted. I realize it might be opening up a can of worms, but given that this is a trading forum after all, perhaps its not such a bad idea to encourage so-called traders to show some trading prowess.
First up, I want to see @schweiz make 1-2 ES points with almost 100% win rate when his "system" goes into recovery mode. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/day-trading-and-sharpe-ratio.322726/page-6#post-4689295 https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/day-trading-and-sharpe-ratio.322726/page-6#post-4689307 Next up, I want to see @Sprout put on just a few trades after he is done drawing all of his little pictures. (shockingly, sprout always showed up in Xela's posts and vice versa) https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/on-10-case-geometry-and-beyond.310880/
I’ve suggested we should do a 3 month open competition. You’ll see who can and can not trade. Quickly. That and they would need to be good enough to come up with the entry hurdle. I’m still game.
