The U.S. has never gone longer than 10 years between recessions, and the last recession ended in June of 2009. If Trump makes it to the end of his first term without a recession, it will be a significant accomplishment. If he makes it to the end of his second term, it will be an incredible accomplishment.

Good luck with your trade. I hope it turns around for you.

Can you explain why that is, and why we cannot go more than 10 years between recessions?

Because it sure as hell seems you are implying, like many others, that we must now have a recession. I want to know why it must be that way.

Yes. These trades are what I make my living on. This is my fulltime job. Sorry if you didn't get that memo. So I have some skin in this game. I'm not a faker. This is my livelihood and I am not rich enough that this is a "whim fancy".

$200 up or down is important to me. It means the difference between paying bills, or going deeper into a debt hole. You dig?

I have to listen to shit like this to groove and get my mojo. My life is on the line. And before you ask...No, I " can't just get another job". I am beyond that now. Trading is all I have. That is why I got into it in the first place, 6 years ago. So I take it personal sometimes. Sorry about that if it comes up.

Trump has a history of having short term business "successes" involving a lot of new debt that in more cases then is healthy go belly up. He then wipes his hands from the project, using his lawyers if needed, assuming no moral or ethical responsibility for what he's done. Americans risk a similar result with how their country is being run.

  10. quote: "Is the US really a time bomb waiting to happen?"

It depends on a lot of factors ... like exactly what "the US" refers to, exactly what constitutes "time bomb", exactly what "waiting" entails, exactly how "happen" is defined in this context ...

Of course, it will also depend on what the meaning of "Is" is.
