You post shit by the WHO. How come my death rate was spot on while the estimates you had by the experts were orders of magnitude off? You also suggested that citizens were not allowed to question the government response. Any bad news from Sweden you post with glee. You are a troll, you offer no value. GET LOST.
Your death rate is not "spot on". You like to assert this, but have very little evidence beyond your claims that COVID-19 infections are widespread in the population and undetected. I will note that both the Stanford and other anitbody study in CA have been withdrawn and rejected by experts. The study in Sweden on proposed infection rate has also been withdrawn. Eventually in-depth studies will arrive at the actual death rate for COVID-19. At minimum (at the most optimistic) it will be 8 times the seasonal flu. More likely it will be 20 to 30 times the seasonal flu.
I would like to read about the papers being withdrawn... can you provide a link to the information about the Stanford antibody test being withdrawn.
Let's provide some links to previous posts about the Stanford and the Swedish studies. You don't have a link showing the the Stanford study / paper being withdrawn after saying it was withdrawn? But you said... in pertinent part... "I will note that both the Stanford and other anitbody study in CA have been withdrawn ... "
Sweden's Strategy - just let foreigners with COVID-19 die in the street with no treatment. Turkey brings COVID-19 patient home from Sweden for treatment https://www.dailysabah.com/turkey/turkey-brings-covid-19-patient-home-from-sweden-for-treatment/news Turkey on Sunday brought home one of its citizens from Sweden who contracted coronavirus but was not given treatment. A Turkish air ambulance left Malmo Airport at 9 a.m. local time (0700GMT) and arrived at the Ankara Esenboğa Airport at 1:30 p.m. local time (1030GMT). After routine health checks, the patient Emrullah Gülüşken, 47, and his three children were taken to Ankara Şehir Hospital. In Malmo, Sweden, Gülüşken tested positive for COVID-19 but was denied treatment by authorities. His daughters Leyla and Samira shared posts on social media, asking for help. Turkey's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca took swift action to bring the family back. "Dear Leyla, we heard your voice. Our ambulance airplane is taking off at 6 a.m. and we're coming to Sweden," Fahrettin Koca said early Sunday in a Twitter message, saying that the hospitals and doctors in Turkey are ready to treat her father. Koca later wrote: "A daughter did something that would be an example to all. Our country took very swift action. Our ambulance aircraft brought the patient from Sweden this morning." Koca continued by extending get well wishes from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish people to Gülüşken's daughter, who sought the country's help to save her father. The daughters of the Turkish expat thanked President Erdoğan and Health Minister Koca for their initiative. Gülüşken's daughter, Samira, had shared a video on social media about her father's situation and asked for help. She said after her father experienced fever and shortness of breath, she called hospitals but did not receive a return call. Turkey's embassy in Stockholm and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) contacted the family and Koca talked to the younger Gülüşken. "After a doctor came to our home and checked my father, he called the ambulance and asked to be taken to the hospital. After being hospitalized, he was diagnosed with COVID-19. Despite this, they sent my father back home," she told Anadolu Agency (AA). After originating in China last December, the coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, has spread to at least 185 countries and regions. Europe and the U.S. are currently the worst-hit regions. Another dim attempt at attacking Sweden, by another dim poster. Its wonderful that in an extremely fluid situation that is evolving by the minute that you cite an article by Forbes that is close to two weeks old. Maybe you need an update. https://www.forbes.com/sites/gabrie...nt-arrived-in-sweden-whats-next/#27143aec3caf The Predicted Coronavirus Catastrophe Hasn’t Arrived In Sweden. What’s Next?
So just a couple of days ago the Swedish Deputy Prime Minister, Isabella Lövin, admitted that they managed to both wreck their economy AND have the highest number of deaths / death rate compared to their neighbors. They got the worse of both. 'The biggest myth about Sweden is that life is going on as normal' Life in Sweden is absolutely not going on as normal, the country's Deputy Prime Minister Isabella Lövin told The Local as she warned the government was prepared to take stronger measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus outbreak. https://www.thelocal.se/20200424/in...out-sweden-is-that-life-is-going-on-as-normal
There are 10 million people in Sweden and 8 million people in NYC. NYC has a massive lockdown but lost 17,515 people, where as Sweden lost 2,274 people. The facts do not support your assertion.
