Would you like to provide a list of your needs? We offer many futures platforms including RealTick, CME Direct, Ice Trading Platform and the list attached.

What is missing from your current platform that would make a new platform better?

How about finding better commodity rather than platform?

His question may be related execution capabilities. Moving to another market may have the same issue.

  8. TradeStation. That's all you need to know.

  9. Trading platforms have slight differences, but it is more a preference than an advantage or disadvantage.

For any commodity, you want a platform with good charts first, all TA starts with the chart, if charts aren’t sufficient you won’t be able to be accurate in your analysis.

Sierra Charts or CQG charts, have a lot of historic data and drawing tools.
More important is the feed reliability, if your price feed goes in and out you are stuck. I always suggest having two platforms (different data feeds) and two accounts in case one loses connection you can hedge yourself out on the second account.

Running two data feeds may at times slow down your execution as data from the exchange can consume quite a lot from your internet pipes. So the same problem you are trying to solve (stable data and low latency execution) is what would cause it by running two multiple feeds simultaneously.
