    Ok.

    I have two questions.
    1. Are there any money to be made in re-creating Jack's late logic and implement it in NT7 charting software?
    2. If answer on first question is Yes. We will do team effort, kind of.

  2. Again, i`m not sure exactly your intention.What exactly you intend to re-create?There are lots of stuff to code.

    I use this display to trade it manually:

    https://www.elitetrader.com/et/attachments/internals-png.172910/

    There you can see the price cases with no interbar gap(various Jack`s threads explain what the cases are aand why eliminating gaps between them is important), the volume nodes(the node are from the 'Exact Science' thread, search for the 'flow sheet',i can posted, if needed) and autochannels with 'bookmarks', which i found here,in the 'software thread' and did a little tweak with the help of some developer(could be improved further though).The only thing missed is the intersession gap.I found it difficult to achieve, so did many developers i requsted it with.Actually, there was one, but asked toooo much for it,so i skipped.

    As i can see,almost everything are there in the psm suit you already have.Did it stop working for you, or what`s wrong with it?

    All in all, Guys, if you are programmers i don`t see any difficultie to code things up.I`m not a full-blown programmer, so i had to request lots of stuff, and it was quiet expensive.It cost a lot as well to go with that stuff and try it live.So to answer your first question, yes it works.

    I also have this stuff automated and backtested,but to go live with it requiers little more capital then i`m ready to commit at this time.

    Hope that helps.

  3. This on i use as the 'OTR' chart, to fine tune the entries: OTR.png

    Not really the original OTR, but serves the same purpose, moreover, everything you see is available on web for free.

    I believe he is attempting to duplicate what you have and what Jack had created here:

    https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/fortes-fortuna-juvat.282311/page-10#post-4446063

    There is nothing wrong with it. It is just that Jack introduced a completely different framework that was predominantly based on volume only. We want to understand it better.

    Programming is not the difficult aspect of this pursuit. Understanding the logic may very well be.
    There are volume labels on Jack's chart such as P1,P2,P3,T1 and T2 which each of their exact definitions remains somewhat unclear.

  5. It depends what you are after and what you YOU,would be comfartable with.Lots of Jack`s stuff can be coded and traded.Think what suits YOU most.I based my display completely on the 'Exact Science' thread.I found it more suitable for me.

    Can`t help you with the P1,P2,P3, ...etc stuff, as i don`t know nothing about it.

    BTW, if it`s not difficult to program, why you can`t find no inter-session gap study, for e.g., no inter-bar gap study, decent automated channels(the one stepan7 posted is good enough, but rays thing made it impossible to use, well for me personally, please no offense.)

    And etc, etc , etc...Decades left since Jack`s first post, but the are no stuff available.I spent $5-6K on the coding stuff.You cant just wing it.You have to code the stuff test the stuff live, code it, test it live, code it, test it live...because demo thing is one thing, live trading is totally different.So my adventure is about 20K now.So how do you think you`ll be there?You can`t get there just by reading threads and asking questions.If you are a brilliant programmer, you`ll get all the stuff withing 2 weeks.So start coding the proper stuff and logic will be there after a while, and i may assist.

    Ninjatrader is a decent platform, C# is a decent language.I think Tomahawks are written on C#.Correct me if i`m wrong.

    If my memory serves me:

    P = peak
    T = trouth
    1 = 1st
    2 = 2nd
    3 = 3rd

    A regular sequence is P1, T1, P2, T2, P3. But stuff happens, sorted by the relation between the Ps, as well as between Ts, amplitudes.

  7. Question to stepan7,

    What are those blue lines good for?It seems that there`s no way to disable them.Also, there are no width and colors properties for the lines.Since it`s in dll, i can`t figure its usage out.

    Well, most folks will embrace whatever that works the best. The Price-Volume framework complete with its components of channels, laterals, dominant (B2B | 2B, R2R | 2R) and non-dominant volume (2B, 2R), provided a somewhat effective visual\discretionary trading guideline. Unfortunately it lacks precision and despite the best efforts of Spydertrader, leaves much to one's judgment. Jack's 'Exact Science' efforts attempted to rectify the problems of PV but its complications may have created much confusion.

    Who is Tomahawks? Is he/she using Jack's framework?

    Thank you for the post.

    What are you talking about I called JHM version 1.0 using Channels/PRV/Formations/FBO/FTT perfected by Spydertrader. You much modified and improve it for your needs, of course - great work.

    There was JHM version 0.0 with MACD, two Stochastics, Rockets and so on, started back in the days even ET not existed.

    What I am talking about implementing Jack's late annotation/logic (let's call it JHM version 2.0) that aren't uses any channels (at least I don't see them on Jack's charts) but other acronyms XB, XR, etc.

    Basically question is - is it worth/helpful to try to automate Jack's annotation.

    In JHM 0.0 and JHM 1.0 there are clear rules when to enter and exit the trade.

    Can somebody come up with such rules for JHM 2.0?

    If so, I will do programming stuff, time permit.
