Well there are not that many great Finland songs so it has to be done.

I was quietly singing it waiting for food in a restaurant in Filandia which is a town in the coffee region of Colombia and when a friend of my daughter asked if I had just written it I was embarrassed to have to explain, at length, who Monty Python were.

Well it was more embarrassing for my daughter having a friend who never heard of them. :)

I heard that scepticism before & i wonder where.
    Wait a min~~~
Could it be that people had similar thoughts when UA was invaded ?
And could it be that we over estimate the power of Russia ?

As we saw in the last few months, the almighty Russian army is nothing more but a hunter gatherers of syberian tundra.

Morale low. Communication poor. Logistics messed up.

Thus, the army by itself, isn't such a big threat.
    NATO would, vaporize it.
(Remember, the defending force has the advantage both in the strategy and morale, where the attacking force has to deploy 3x units)

Now when it comes to nukes, - Putka alone - can't launch those & as much as some of the Russians would like to see the conflict, most of them woudn't want to see their own cities turned into ashes.

Finland joining the NATO is not an escalation, it's a prevention.

First if NATO vaporize Russian army nukes will be deployed 100%
This is why Russian army don't even try to become equal to NATO army - because they _will deploy_ nukes in case of a big conventional war with NATO
This is in their military policy

And I think they can still nuke Ukraine if they astart losing, and not only Ukraine but Poland for example as it's major hub for ukraine bound weapons

Russia can attack any NATO member bordering without any risk of full blown NATO response because NATO know full blown response will guaranty nuking

Unless Russia stops existing it will likely require removal of NATO from russian borders for any longterm peace

So it's quite obvious US betting on some sort of Russia collapse

and if it doesn't happen it would be quite humiliating for Finland when they are expelled from NATO in several years for the greater good world peace along with several others like Baltic territories

Russia's fucked in any outcome; deploying nukes is an insane premise and those of you who post this kind of shit are clueless. Pretending that deploying them is a rational strategy puts you in the lunatic category. If a lunatic is in power well he needs to be killed before the destruction gets really bad.

Don't know in what kind of paralel universe you live in, but in ours, after such events, you would see Chinese troops with anti hazard suits razing flags near ural.

Russia could have joined Nato for protection against China under different leadership where it developed into a more equitable western Europe style comfortable & semi-socialist market society. Now you are buggered, no friends but the Serbs.

You nuke, you get nuked. Nuke Arsehole Tiny Oligarchs.

Really, its too much having a bunch of brainwashed alcoholics with a GDP smaller than Italy trying to threaten like a gopnik pensioner :)

Enjoy learning Mandarin comrade, collect many social credits! or conrade as you are really in your kleptocracy.

Remember this? "Vladimir’s Putin’s plan for the new economy. The goal? Make people rich and happy. List of people attached."

GDP when most of it come from services and RE pumping and growing part virtual services like facebook, snapchat etc which is supported by endless moneyprinting doesn't mean much

Look at Japan they are on the brink now - their currency in freefall they can't stop printing, they are almost done

those who have real resources - water, oil, gas, food will rule irrespective of their GDP size

those with fake GDP based on virtual services will suffer

    US president has late dementia
Maybe US need to bring their leadership in order first

Putin is completely rational and far from lunatic- his army is weak and nato refuses to negotiate
that's why they have 5000 nukes
small tactical nuke is very possible as a warning as it's in their militrary doctrine and NATO and US army know that and must behave accordingly
although when you have demented president - that's what real lunacy and can result in anything
