    Why drink raw milk?

Raw milk has been a topic of debate, with both proponents and critics. Here are some of the claimed benefits of drinking raw milk:
    1. Nutrient Content:
      • Raw milk, especially from pastured animals, is considered a great source of essential nutrients. It contains:
        • Calcium
        • Iron
        • Vitamins A, D & K
        • Phosphorus
        • Zinc
        • Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)
        • Omega-3 fatty acids
        • Beneficial enzymes and probiotics: These healthy bacteria can inhibit the grown of undesirable and dangerous organisms in the gut.
    2. Natural Form:
      • Raw milk is similar to breast milk in that both are completely natural, fresh, and unprocessed.
      • I contains a wide variety of essential nutrients, fats, proteins, anti-inflammatory and digestive enzymes, bioavailable vitamins, and minerals—all in a form that is easily utilized by the body.
    3. Perceived Health Benefits:
      • Advocates of raw milk argue that it's a complete, natural food with more amino acids, antimicrobials, vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids than pasteurized milk.
      • Some claim that raw milk is a better choice for those with lactose intolerance, asthma, and autoimmune or allergic conditions.

    You are right mister.

    relatively speaking, eating

    salamis, sausages, fast food,
    margarine, cakes, cookies

    and drinking
    alcohol, vegetable oil, soda water

will make you live very very very long.

    Eating toxins from puffer fish,
    poisonous mushroom, toxic toad ...
will shorten your life very very very massively.

No wonder @RantaMin likes this thread.
He must be enjoying eating salamis and cakes.

Long live @Pekelo eating salamis and cakes.

For me, I do my own research. And I don't follow other people's research

Since saturated and trans fats are bad for you, what type of fat is good for you?

Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are generally considered healthy fats because they can help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and lower the risk of heart disease. Monounsaturated fats can be found in olive, peanut, and canola oils, as well as rapeseed oil and spreads made from these oils. Polyunsaturated fats are mostly found in fish oils.

So then, why aren't foods (such as chocolate bars) made with unsaturated fats instead of saturated fats?

When it comes to foods like chocolate bars, the choice of fats depends on several factors:

    1. Texture and Flavor:
      • Saturated fats (like those in cocoa butter) give chocolate a smooth texture and contribute to its rich flavor.
      • Unsaturated fats (such as those in olive oil) have different properties and might alter the taste and texture.
    2. Stability:
      • Saturated fats are more stable at room temperature, which helps maintain the chocolate’s structure.
      • Unsaturated fats can be less stable and might lead to texture changes or melting.
    3. Cost and Availability:
      • Saturated fats (like cocoa butter) are abundant in chocolate production regions.
      • Unsaturated fats (like olive oil) can be costlier or less readily available.

  9. Artery-clogging saturated fat myth debunked

The article is the result of a collaboration between a team of cardiologists, including: Dr. Aseem Malhotra, of Lister Hospital in Stevenage, in the United Kingdom; Prof. Rita Redberg, of the University of California-San Francisco School of Medicine and editor of JAMA Internal Medicine; and Pascal Meier, of University Hospital Geneva in Switzerland and University College London, who is also the editor of BMJ Open Heart.

The team cited reviews that show no association between intake of saturated fat and a greater risk of heart disease, in order to support their argument against the existence of artery-clogging saturated fat.

“It is time to shift the public health message in the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease away from measuring serum lipids and reducing dietary saturated fat,” say the authors. Instead of focusing on lowering blood fats and cutting out dietary saturated fats, the importance of eating “real food,” partaking in regular physical activity, and minimizing stress, should all be emphasized.
