When I was young, my grandfather told me, "If you expect to eat regular, you'd better plan on working". (Of course that was before the age of "social support and lifestyle everything".) Nowdays, there are all kinds of ways to "suck tit" on the taxpayer... programs inspired to garner political support for scumbag politicos. In America we're not going to let people starve or freeze to death, of course. That said, I'd like to see social support be, "3 hots and a cot" in a shelter.
