Reading of several instances where family saved a loved one in the hospital by smuggling Ivermectin in to them.

    Whatever it takes I guess.

This is laughable since Ivermectin is useless for preventing or treating Covid-19. There are plenty of news stories about anti-vax clowns taking Ivermectin in a hospital which croaked.

Who am I going to believe, the National Center for Biotechnology Information or some washed up old boomer?

    You have nothing but dis-information.

There are few drugs that can seriously lay claim to the title of ‘Wonder drug’, penicillin and aspirin being two that have perhaps had greatest beneficial impact on the health and wellbeing of Mankind. But ivermectin can also be considered alongside those worthy contenders, based on its versatility, safety and the beneficial impact that it has had, and continues to have, worldwide—especially on hundreds of millions of the world’s poorest people.

Who am I going to believe, the Doctors at Duke University or some washed up old boomer?

Jan. 21, 2022 -- Doctors at Duke University are leading a national study to test whether three drugs could effectively treat COVID-19 — including ivermectin — according to The News & Observer.

The study, which began last summer, is attempting to provide a comprehensive assessment of the controversial treatment. Ivermectin has been celebrated by some as a potential COVID-19 treatment and ridiculed by others who say there’s no proof that the drug works against the coronavirus, and in fact, could be harmful to patients.

“There were some early studies that showed that it could potentially be helpful with COVID-19, but they were not large enough to be definitive,” Adrian Hernandez, MD, one of the study leaders and a cardiologist at Duke University, told the newspaper.

You should be very aware that I have previously posted about this Duke study of Ivermectin and other medicines. You should realize that the intent of these proper large-scale professional studies is to finalize if Ivermectin provides any prevention or treatment benefit for Covid-19. It should be noted that all the similar studies demonstrated that Ivermectin was worthless for preventing or treating Covid-19. The expectation is that the Duke study will simply reinforce these earlier findings with more data from a respected source.

I never said it was.... However all the similar peer-reviewed large-scale studies run by professional respected institutions demonstrated that Ivermectin is useless for preventing or treating Covid-19. The results of the Duke study are expected to be similar by the medical community when they are finalized.
