Let me state that I don't support any system involving cash payments to snitch on teachers any more than I support the system in Texas which is legalized to financially incentivize people to snitch on anyone involved in an abortion. Both are fundamentally the wrong IMO.

I am also against state legislatures passing bills regarding "CRT" -- nearly all are overly broad. The curriculum for subjects in schools should be left to professional state education officials -- who should also provide guidance on using lesson plans which do not abuse or demean students. This should be reinforced at the local school system level where administrators should not allow CRT-based lesson plans which belittle or demean students on the basis of race. Inclusion and diversity is different than CRT and "equity" education. Students should have an encompassing view of our history including all the social history, slavery, civil rights, racism, and multiple perspectives from people of all races & backgrounds throughout our history.

You should've thought about that before you pushed debunked conspiracy propaganda.

No conspiracy propaganda. Progressives better get off the kool-aid that CRT is merely right-wing boogeyman. Parents and teachers know better -- it is obvious to them that CRT-based education is being used in the classrooms in many school systems. Denying it makes Democrats look like completely oblivious idiots who are out of touch with reality. At this juncture the current Democratic CRT talking point is a hard fail -- and flies in the face of obvious reality.

Earlier in this thread I even provided the messaging the Democrats need to switch to if they don't want to lose every competitive race in 2022.

good luck w/that. The dems need to call out this propaganda for what it is, a thinly veiled attempt at boycotting public education and indoctrinate kids into the GQP. They need to hammer hard against these anti-education, anti-intellectual, anti-historicity goons.

The Republicans will like to thank the Democrats for providing the formula for taking every competitive race in the country in 2022.

All the non-affiliated voting parents assuredly recognize reality -- and easily see the Democrats are pushing nonsense when it comes to CRT-based education in their local schools.

The Democrats need to immediately back away from their absurd "CRT is a dog-whistle of the far-right and is not being taught in schools" theme -- it is a hard fail.

I have a screenplay idea about a time card fraudster who and the imagined dragon in Carl Sagan's garage..

I spoke to two cousins, both teachers in Louisiana and not political either way. Saying Dems have to back away from calling out a dog..

You are mentally unhinged and exactly the kind of person who was shot by the liberated French after WWII.

Good luck with your fallacies... Let's review once again the messaging the Democrats need regarding CRT.

First let's look at their current Democratic talking point -- "CRT is a dog-whistle of the far-right and is not being taught in schools". This is a hard fail. It is obvious to many parents that CRT-based lesson plans are being taught in K-12 schools. Trying to tell the parents differently is like the Democrats trying to tell parents the sky is not blue. Parents will simply go outside in daytime and easily see the Democrats are full of the stuff that comes from a the rear end of a bull.

The Democratic messaging needs to be along the lines of the following:

"It is important that all children feel safe and comfortable in school so they can learn and be educated. We are against any material or lesson plans which belittles or separates children on the basis of race. All children should learn an encompassing view of our history of the United States including our rich diversity, social history, and inclusive perspectives of all people.

"For decades the Democrats have been leaders in improving and supporting education in the U.S. We want all parents to know we still support and will always support the education of their children. Our intent is to make sure every child well-educated as well as knowledgeable about our history -- setting the table for their success in life".

"We understand the concerns of parents in having their children get the best education possible, and are always open to listening to their input and taking action to improve the quality of instruction."

At the same time Democrats need to firmly back away from any material pushing CRT-based education in K-12 classrooms. This includes scrubbing any suggestions to use CRT-based material from government websites, not training teachers to use CRT-based material, and eliminating any "Equity" programs in schools. The focus needs to be on inclusion and diversity -- not on CRT and "Equity".

Of course, Republican candidates will try to conflate CRT with "inclusion and diversity" -- just like they are doing with bills in state legislatures currently. Democrats need to be able to concisely and properly explain why inclusion and diversity is not CRT -- and that Democrats do not support CRT-based education & concepts for children in K-12 classrooms.

The GOP running on fear mongering falsehoods is nothing new, the Dems giving such falsehoods credence helps no one. We've got receipts of who's funding this 'organic' movement. Do you?

The lack of understanding of reality you have displayed in regards to CRT-based education in K-12 schools --- is exactly why Democrats will suffer badly in competitive elections in 2022.

You can come down here and explain to all the black parents showing up at Durham school board meetings to oppose CRT how they are merely propagating "falsehoods" -- they know better.

Why would I bother explaining how the election was not stolen or that vaccines work? Black or otherwise?
