Bug: Blocking/Ignoring not possible if the other blocks you

Suggestion----Block should not be permanent but should have a short time frame for reversal like a week. Having it be permanent invites more multi-nicks.

 

Odd, as @thecoder/@botpro has repeatedly posted on ET that he has me on his ignore list. So what's the problem?

I had this dest-idi for a short time put into my ignore list, but since then it's no more possible b/c of this very bug in the system...

Like said in the initial posting: the system shall allow to block the other user even if the other user is blocking you.
This step at least would give "equality of arms" for each side.

Yes, true.
But if this bug were fixed then the other side had less possibility to spam, I think.
I mean: first let's get "equality of arms". Then we can see what else is still missing...
