The peek of the black swan is very exciting or known as the pivot point. see how doji or small range it's trading.. sellers are holding strong and hanging tight why buyers put a bid but reluctant to bid higher price is trading range for two days. sellers and buyers not budging or sellers holding to gains. or something The peek of the black swan is another interesting thing very strong support at 9000 can you believe that 9000 is now support now if 9000 doesn't hold it goes lower to 8500 which December highs. now it falls to 8000 and no support downtrend or bear market is in. and sellers have to chae buyers or call them to buy. ask is not sold all bids are filled.
A black swan event is an unforseen event that suddenly halts a upward trend in the market. okay. and market crashes. or gaps down. for commodities its a fire in australia, earthqauke etc. it's not normal event. and very rare.it doesn't occure every year or maybe once every generation of 10 years 2008 /2009was a black swan event. and crash of 1987 and tech weck in 2002 black swan events are predictable but very rare and comes up unexpectantly. China just cancelled all it's contracts to buy. there is black swan event in the clause in those 'contracts' and this is the black swan event. the clause in the contract is veto or in case of of severe circumstnace they can cancel contrats ore agreeements. importers in China woujld be studk with stuff they cannot sell or price would be 50% lower which would lead them to bankrutpcy if they take delivery. and have to pay. they even have black swan event clause in insurance. acts of god or wars is not covered in many insurances the insurance company would be bankrupt if it had to cover black swan events.
If you see a "black swan" forming in a chart, it is not a black swan!!! Your own definition contradicts itself... From Investopedia... https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/blackswan.asp What is a Black Swan? A black swan is an unpredictable event that is beyond what is normally expected of a situation and has potentially severe consequences. Black swan events are characterized by their extreme rarity, their severe impact, and the practice of explaining widespread failure to predict them as simple folly in hindsight. If you see a "black swan" forming in a chart, it is not a black swan!!!
sellers are still in control but buyers not bidding higher. at this stage. and price is tight the previous buying rally has exhausted and mostly from short covering.
