Your list is really ridiculous and fake. we accept eritrea, chad, niger .... Eritrea ???? How can a country of dictatorship which is not even recognized by all the countries of the world be authorized while model countries are refused? Why are countries like chad, niger (....) countries cut short by terrorism accepted while model countries have been refused? Why accept countries in the FATF list and refuse those that are not part?
I do not mean to step deeper into this, but the OP stated he is based in the USA. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/application-denied-by-amp.360289/#post-5422772 @AMP_Global Could you give the folk a PM with more detail about why his app was rejected, since we may assume he is a US-based client and not subject to the FATF list? @amos922 THAT is really as far as I can go. From here on out, it is between you and them. Too many participants and all that.
aka Trump's list of "shithole countries". LOL That's almost the entire African continent except South Africa and Ethiopia listed twice and the rest of the countries which are not considered US allies, pretty much 40% of the world. LOL
many OPs did similar thing. They only tell us half of the story. and they hide the other half of the story. They can't open the account. and they use ET to vent their anger / frustration. hiding vital information is considered as being dishonest.
Well to be fair, he wasn't really venting anything. He was just looking for somebody from AMP for him to talk to to find out why his application is denied. It's this other poster who came on later and decided to vent because he was denied from AMP because of his nationality and not his permanent residency. I mean I can understand this other poster's frustration. It's not like he's still residing in the other country that's on AMP's banned country's list which is really outdated imo; he's been in France for 17 years and lives there permanently; his money is obviously being transacted from France to AMP and vice versa and has nothing to do with this African nation that he happens to be from originally. To me that's a bit of an overkill on AMP's part.
