Dedicated Line to IB Data Centers

Hello you all,

I'm through a process of opening an IB account and must decide on connection types. My very first intention is a dedicated line. Question is: could you provide me a list of the top US dedicated servers firms ?
Although IB instructions mention a T1 line as a medium of connection in between I was told T1 is unnecessary since dedicated server firm is about miliseconds away IB data center. Is this information correct ?

www.speedytradingservers.com is 1ms to IB for $60 a month, you can get 1u rackspace in IB conneticut data center for $2k a month.

 

These people sell virtual servers for 60. You can find not so fancy colo in Chicago for around that price for 1U

 

I've asked a number of people at IB about this and was told that it's not offered. Do you have a contact?

 

Raise a ticket at IB and you will be given the email address of the contact.

 

Tried that. Was told I was given bad information and they don't offer it. Do you have a box there?

 

Email ci [at] interactivebrokers.com. Alternatively, you can get a server and cross connect from http://www.fcm360.com/ in Equinex NY4 where IB have a gateway and all the equity exchanges, fx and cboe are located.
