Sure, come on down. There's a range a couple miles from here. But, you won't even take 2 hours to drive up to Chicago to have a drink with Mavrick.
I've killed more than few deer. I should fucking hope so. But then I was always a little better than average marksman. Could I put him down with the first shot? Probably not. Oh, and a .357 magnum is hardly a "cannon". I've only had the privilege of shooting a .44 magnum on one occasion but I actually enjoyed it. But then admittedly I like some recoil when I shoot.
RCG: I can't hit anything at 200 yards with a pistol, not even with my S&W Model-41 which is possibly the most accurate production handgun in the world. Eight: Mountain lions grab kids and petite females here with some regularity. They usually hit from behind and grab the head in their teeth and drag the victim off alive then choke them out in cover. Some dogs get taken too. My chief concern is coyotes in large numbers. Sometimes when I'm walking a dog there will be 4-5 coyotes staying parallel at a distance.
I used to own a .44 magnum. It was an off brand western style revolver. It was difficult to hang on to when fired. Usually your hand would slip up the grip and bang the flesh between your fingers and your thumb against the hammer. I went home with a bloody hand on more than one occasion. It did make enough noise that I don't think you would have to hit your target, though. The blast alone would knock them over. Anyway, I got rid of it because of the recoil and poor design. I thought about getting a S&W or Ruger but haven't. The blast from that handgun was pretty awesome though.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question,(i know nothing about guns) but i noticed there is the metallic shiny part on the outside of the holster, i assumed that is a belt clip, why is there a belt clip on the outside of the holster? Just curious. Shouldnt that be on the inside? clearly i have to much time on my hands today.
