Trust me if you ever had a close family member if who has been a victim of a murder the police will show up with photos even if they know the identification of the victim. The pictures are used to confirm that the relatives corroborate the identification found in the wallet id.
The police took Zimmerman into custody and confiscated his gun, cordoned off the "crime scene" interviewed several witnesses, administered first aid to Zimmerman and then drove him away to be interrogated. The narrative of a sloppy investigation does not ring true. An investigation is not sloppy simply because it does not produce the results you want. I don't see the this whole idea of police simply not caring. If they did not care, they would have let zimmerman go instead of taking him into custody. By the way, contrary to initial and wrong reports, Zimmerman never got his gun back.

Ehhh.. not the first time someone has been undeservedly charged with a crime. Z can go to trial, wins case goes on with life.
Actually the initial police work by the responding Sanford patrol officers was appropriate and by the book in the opinion of many police officers across the US who commented on the case. The failure of the Sanford police in this case involves the inadequate response of the major crimes unit to follow-up on the case. This is coupled with the failure of the local prosecutor to properly pursue the case. This is why the old police chief and local prosecutor were removed from office; it was not because they were doing an excellent glowing job.
How did you come to this conclusion? Not even the new lawyer for Zimmerman has been given full details on (new)discoveries made on the case.
His judge dad got him off, again. Remember, this is the 2nd, not the first, time charges were dropped on Zimmerman. I think that's what this is. Not a case of racism so much as it is of corruption. No other explanation really fits all the facts except for Zimmerman getting sprung so fast because his dad had some sort of connection.
Yeah right.... this is why the former police chief's severance package is on the agenda for the next town council meeting, and the local prosecutor is on a leave of absence and not handling any cases.
Among the Zimmer supporters here on ET , we know that 377 has pledged $20 to the defense fund. Now i know that $20 will hardly be enough, so . . . c'mon guys dig deep in those pockets and show some real support for one of yours. I mean look at those puppy eyes, they're crying out for your help.
