  1. occasionally my kids talk about it. "Yeah dad, but if you didn't marry her, we wouldn't be here."

  2. yes and also the Mormons

    no coke

    no coffee

might as well include no aspirn if you get a headache from caffiene withdrawl

and don't let that corn ferment, it could turn into alcohol

for years Europeans would rather starve to death than eat those South American potatoes which they though were poisonous

Like God told Adam and Eve, "You can smoke anything in the garden, but don't be smoking that pot."

and that is why I never buy pot from snakes

  3. I guess for some people it is too late to start sorting out once's psychological issues. Now, it seems that for you it is about finding stuff to do to use your time till your day's calling.

  4. and it can't come soon enough

you know you are getting middle age when more than 50% of your thoughts are about the past

It doesn't have to be that way you know

You can catch yourself when you are thinking too much about the past, and change it

I'm also experimenting with eliminating all negative memories, so all I will be left with is the good ones

that's not going so well, it's still a work in progress

as far as enlightenment goes, just remember 90% of life just goes on inside your head. It doesn't matter if you are trading or running a marathon or hopefully making love to a beautiful woman. It's all going on just inside your head.

  5. zdreg

    zdreg

"no matter who I met I could read them immediately"

however, no matter, could you read the market?

  6. well, I wasn't reading the market back then. I didn't even know what the market was.

I have said many times, 90% of what I do is just money management, 10% is reading the market

so yes I suppose, meditating could help you read the market

I know it sure as hell helped me reading people

but then again, they didn't have anything to offer me personally
