Zen, Yoga, Meditation and Trading

  1. I just had to pass on trader28's second PM to me to illustrate one of the points I made in my last post. And T28, please don't keep sending abusive PMs - and before you get on your high horse about being a PM, abuse doesn't get that defence. You need to learn to let it go :)

"Ahahahahah I knew you were to gutless to answer on the thread... I kicked your arse and you are too embarrassed to reply there because you know I won... you have no answer to QM proving subjectivity and invalidating the precious objectivity science revered for 300 years... dont bat out of your league next time peewee "

  2. Happy to be quoted on that, every word completely true... but I notice you didn't include your reply... just another act of deflection and cowardice...

Still waiting for you to counter my argument by the way ;)

  3. LOL. And so it continues.
    I don't feel a great need to expand my horizont;
and you may have missed the preceding:
"what it seems to say is"

Its a strange and ambiguous path one treads when one abandons rationality.

And finally from me on T28's PM's titled simply and aptly "quantum moronics" just in case anyone really (god knows why) wanted to know what my reply to his first unwelcome PM was "LOL. You simply dont know how little you know. But everyone else does."

And regarding the request of argument: there was never an argument worth countering.

This has, to use T28's word, become just too moronic. Cheers guys, this thread really has gone to Chit Chat :)

  4. You keep saying you wont answer anymore but yet again you cant help yourself, talk about a poor loser... one can only wonder what that kind of discipline does for your trading :)

Come back again anytime you want your arse handed to you again... and ps... those sheep are for wool... not for lovin :)

  5. It seems that any light shed in this thread has disappeared amongst the smoke of unreason.

    Good luck in everyone's development.

  6. Yeah and good luck to you in your quest for self education... I suggest you start with The quantum self by Danah Zohar... or any book on quantum mechanics would be a start for you I guess

  8. There is so much blatant ignorance in the world, getting mad at one more instance is pointless... like shouting down a fly for disturbing one's picnic.

p.s. as with a few other things, I learned this the hard way.

I thought meditation was to abandon ego?

  10. More specifically it is to identify with your true self, a western occultist would say that includes perfecting the ego as the vehicle of the divine self but an eastern yogi would agree with your definition, different paths, same destination

The western occultist embraces desire and the eastern yogi transcends desire... I will assume we are all traders here so it is obvious the western path is far more suited to our lifestyles and career choice
