Crazy week, I did come back Wednesday after it was announced that tariffs would be paused and closed all of my Puts except TGT. I did end up forgetting I had a put on DKNG when I was rolling things today, otherwise I would have used it to offset loses and roll the DKNG call farther up. Everything else was pretty standard. The only thing I changed was adding positions to TOST. That puts the Robinhood account slightly on margin by $1200. It does bring TOST up to slightly positive with a breakeven at $32.92 for the stock position or $32.23 for the whole position. If; and that ‘if’ is carrying a lot of weight, TOST holds above its 200-day then next week I can back off the put positions.

I’m still down, but I saw an improvement across all accounts this week. Schwab is down $10148.41 (16.10%) Robinhood is up $1451.07 (10.27%) and Robinhood Roth is down $1577.14 (27.73%). Combined I am -$10,274.48 (-12.40%). Over the same time period the S&P is down 11.43% so the gap is down to less than a percent.

TOST is back on the right side of its breakeven. Current $34 call on the stocks would give me $107.42 (2.68%). CAVA is slightly better with its $83 call giving me $303 (3.52%). Cava I’m going to keep rolling out and try to get as much as much as I can out of it, but I’m going to be mindful if I start having to roll it more than a week. When I get to that point it might be more beneficial to let it go and roll the money into TTD.

Worst position money wise is TGT, percentage wise is VFC. TGT has a rescue mission on it so I’m going to let that run for a while, not really worried about it. VFC is a pain. It has very little options premium to play with. I think the best thing to do is roll it until it gets stuck and then roll the funds into RKLB since it has better premiums. Otherwise I could be fighting with it for a very long time.

Flipping through the charts the only other thing that caught my eye was HOOD price is already above my calls of $42 and $39.50. I’m going to leave it alone for now but I might consider rolling those 2 weeks out if I can’t get those fixed. Since Friday is a holiday I will roll everything Wednesday anyway.

I’ve adjusted my thinking a little bit; If i know I can get x% (I said 0.5% but I’ve been trying to get 1% lately) a week a reasonable amount of times a year. Then it makes the most sense to keep as close to 100% of my capital working while I am working my way out of this deficit. At least that’s what I am considering when I look at something like VFC when the math just isn’t looking good to get it back to profitable

Rolled almost everything out today. VFC had no premium unless I went out another week or rolled down so I'm going to let it expire and pick something up Monday. I had the same problem with HUT but just rolled it down $0.50 since its a little better on premium most of the time. Other than those 2 the rest of my positions are moving in the right direction. The other notable exception is TGT, which has dropped slightly on the calendar metric.

Looking at the good things, TOST has $349.09 locked in which is 8.72% for the stock position or 2.53% for the entire position. Cava has $477.66 which is 5.09%. The Robinhood account is down about $155 off its peak that it hit on Feb. 18th. TGT even though it doesn’t look like I’m gaining, I have been able to roll down the put every week. It started at $102, it's now down to $98.

Schwab and Robinhood Roth are still a mess, but moving in the right direction.

Saw an improvement this week. Schwab is still down -$9697.04 (-15.38%). Robinhood gained gained the most, up $1737.18 (12.30%). And Robinhood Roth is still down -$1539.87 (-27.07%). Robinhood altogether (Taxable and Roth) has a slightly positive tilt which is nice. My performance across all accounts is -$9500.73 (-11.46%)

I already talked about TOST and CAVA. TGT and HOOD are still the biggest drawdowns moneywise, HUT and VFC are the biggest drawdowns percentage wise.

Going through the charts nothing jumps out at me. Most of my positions are on the proper side of the price except TGT which I’m working on. I’m seriously considering selling off VFC and putting that towards RKLB. VFC just doesn’t have the premium right now to get capital out of it. HUT has the same problem. I just can’t roll those funds into something else, I would just be sitting on it.

I was working Friday but I managed to get everything rolled while my truck was being loaded in Chicago. Since I was working off my phone I just looked to get a $1 improvement on my options rolls where I could. DKNG was just rolled out but at the same levels. HOOD got away from my strikes so the calls were rolled 2 weeks out. TOST the premium wasn’t high so only rolled the call and 1 put.

Another positive week. Schwab moved up but is still down -$7774.19 (-12.33%). Robinhood taxable made a new high, up $1975.85 (13.99%). Robinhood Roth even moved up a bit to -$1325.30 (-23.30%). Combined my YTD return is -$7141.64 (-8.61%). The Gap between my performance and the S&P jumped from .29 to 1.53 this week. Some of it is probably due to selling out of VFC before prices move up. DKNG and CAVA were also poor performers, both down from last week.

TOST has $490.85 (12.27%) locked in, CAVA is right behind it with $437.32 (5.09%). HOOD had a big jump this week. One position has a breakeven of $49.07 if all income was attributed to it and the whole position is only down -$671.71 (-4.05%). It did jumped a little bit ahead of the strikes. If I can get at least that one back right side up I will start looking if it makes sense to try and rescue HUT or let it ride.

Over in Robinhood I have $7321.56 available to try to put towards something. Like I said, I didn’t like the premium I was getting for TOST. I don’t have anything else I want to jump into. I think I’ll wait and see what happens with TOST after earnings but I might be pulling Options Samurai back out and looking for something new.

Just rolled a few things trying to take advantage of high earnings premium in Schwab. TOST and RKLB I rolled on Monday; they were both up and I thought they might have good weeks.

I came back after I rolled everything and rolled my lower HOOD Call out to 8/15 $49. I have made $1140.95 in premium so that’s at breakeven and I can work on getting the second position down. Its breakeven is $58.59.

I also sold a put on C, not sure i’m going to stick with it or not. I just really wanted to do something with the money I had sitting in Robinhood.

Schwab is continuing its move up. At the start of April it was down over $13K and now its -$6608.32 (-10.48%) Options premium collected in April (for Schwab only) was $2608.21 which is almost 40% of the gain. Robinhood Taxable is $2039.97 (14.45%) and Roth is -$1202.61 (-21.14%) and are also improvements for the week and month. Combined My ROI is -$5770.96 (-6.96%)

Looking over my positions TOST is up $575.73 (14.39%) its breakeven is $30.25 which is down near the lowest close in April of $30.03. Looking at that I probably will trade C for a little while and take TOST down to just one Call option. I’ve traded C before and gotten decent returns from it.

Cava has $1174.63 (13.66%) locked in of the $1739.63 (20.23%) the stock is up. I’ll continue to try and roll that up but if it gets too far ahead I may have to let that go. Just waiting to see what it does on earnings now.

Hood is the only thing upside down right now with a call at $44 so I’m not worried about it. TGT is still my biggest drawdown moneywise and HUT is the biggest drawdown percentage wise. If HUT stays in its current range that may change.

5 of my positions have earnings next week; HUT, RKLB, DKNG,TOST and TTD. Just have to wait and see where everything is next week.

Okay, so Schwab is now showing the full description of each trade and taking up several more lines. Not sure if I did something or they changed something but it makes the screen grabs a lot larger than usual. Rolled everything out. TTD I put out to 9/19 $70. I just want to set it aside, if its assigned there I’ll get $674.38 (9.92%) Not great but all the options premium plus some appreciation. Of course if it falls back down I can pick it up and keep trading it. Same concept as the HOOD position I jumped forward last week.

I didn’t continue the HOOD Put, It was just too far away from what I could put into it. So I sold 3 Puts on HUT. Finally taking a stab at HUT, I didn’t have enough funds to do anything else. Dropped the breakeven down to $21.21 still a ways away. The entire positions breakeven is $15.80 though, unfortunately I got in too early at $14 and those are currently in the money. I’ll deal with that next Friday.

Over in Robinhood I have just the TOST Call. I didn’t like the premium in C. I had closed it Thursday for 90% and walked away with $103.92 (1.48%). Its just not the set up I am really looking for.

I did give in and pay for Options Samurai to start scanning for setups. Even if I’m not quite there I want to start building a watchlist. So far the only thing that came up was UNH, it’s out of my price range but I’m going to follow it anyway. I was really hoping for something to stick into Robinhood, I’ll just have to keep looking.
