Wow, there are no such things as slander, confidentiality agreements or defamation? Really? See, this is why it makes no sense to discuss things with folks who have no intent on having an honest conversation.

There can’t be any of those things if there is no such thing as objective lies. You said that if someone can decide if something is a lie then bias is involved and that is wrong. So if I call you a pedophile you can’t say that is slander because that is your bias.

This is why you are against banning Russian trolls who spread mistruths because the judger of the mistruth will be biased.

Why don’t these right wing people understand the concept of minimal standards and user agreements.

If you break a minimal standards you get thrown off of the medium you are using.

Jones broke the minimal standards. The problem is the right has absolutely no standards, journalistically, morally or ethically.

Don’t expect the rest of the world to yield to your standards. Jones is a corrupting influence on weak minded people and he is inciting and dangerous because he has no standards.

All YouTube Facebook et al are doing is being responsible.

I'm not talking about protected classes by law. If Verizon cut off all Salon readers tomorrow, you don't think this would be a problem? Or people who worked for MSNBC? Or those who accessed Fox news?

Then, if true, there is a vehicle inside the legal system to allow those victims of his slander a way to get compensation. If they pursue this and win, he will stop - because he won't be able to afford to continue. It isn't for Youtube to play judge, jury and executioner.
