Anyone notice there have been fewer protests in Europe and North America about pass sanitaire (Vaccine Passport / Health Pass) for air travel and important venues requiring such ??? Yet, there's a big difference right now between Europe and North America when Europe were shutting their doors to North America a few months ago. The governments public health policy changed the recent two months... Europe's Covid infection numbers have been increasing while North America has been declining. The difference has been that North America has mandated vaccination for certain employees such as military, federal employees, contractors of federal agencies, and healthcare workers. Europe has not (still relying mainly on people to volunteer for the jab). Yet, in Europe, they've relied on mandatory vaccination only for air travel, certain workers that work with the elderly, entering bars, restaurants, gyms, and concert venues. Simply, the vaccines are similar but the mandates (requirements) are being applied to differently...comparing Europe to North America. Yet, some countries in Europe are using vaccines not approved for entry into North America. In contrast, all vaccines used in North America are approved for entry into Europe. The commonality for Europe and North America has been Covid Hospitalizations and Deaths have been declining due to vaccinations. I'm interested in the three below countries (France, the United States, and Canada) because I'm a citizen of these three countries. France 10% of Peak (rising) https://graphics.reuters.com/world-coronavirus-tracker-and-maps/countries-and-territories/france/ The United States 29% of Peak (declining) but Maine, California, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Alabama are increasing in their average infections over the past 2 weeks. https://graphics.reuters.com/world-...maps/countries-and-territories/united-states/ Canada 26% of Peak (declining) https://graphics.reuters.com/world-coronavirus-tracker-and-maps/countries-and-territories/canada/ Overall, I think people have now realized it's more important to focus on using vaccinations to minimize the Covid hospitalizations and Covid Deaths but have started to realize Covid infections are going to be with us for a very long time. wrbtrader

Here's the real skinny on covid mask wearing... https://covid19criticalcare.com/guide-for-this-website/masks-clearing-up-the-confusion/
From the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance -- one of the leading Covid misinformation groups pushing fake cures and other nonsense. This nonsense on masks or anything else from them is not credible whatsoever. It is SAD that anyone would cite them as a source. Masks in many large-scale studies have been proven effective in stopping the spread of Covid.
This statement from the CDC is based on a mere 43 U.S. Omicron cases. It should be noted that many of the Omicron cases in the U.S. are primary — meaning the person traveled directly from South Africa. You had to be vaccinated to travel typically. Likewise most of the secondary U.S. cases involve conventions where you had to be vaccinated to attend such as the Anime Convention in NYC. It is not surprising that nearly all of initial cases are vaccinated based on these conditions — but you should note all these vaccinated cases have been mild — while also noting this trend will not last and shortly we will look like South Africa with our hospitals full of unvaccinated Omicron cases.
