  1. I've got some questions for the people who are more than 20% negative - what's your story? Is it one big loss or are you getting chopped around? I'm not picking on you, I blew up my first $50,000 by doubling down on losers. Just curious on what's holding you back.

I'm definitely in the negative right now but I'm certain I almost have the USD/CHF figured out so I should make it back we'll have to see whether my next trade plays out the way I expect though.

+35%. This low-vol grind-fest of a market reminds me of the mid 2000's, it almost brings a tear to my eye. QE has replaced MBS for this generation of market action.

For all the speculation on this site about PPT for the last decade, finally we have an actual full-on coordinated PPT action and all the conspiracy theorists seem to be MIA. Oh the irony.

  6. Agreed... now that my account is ~500K$, I am finding it more difficult to replicate my returns...

  7. Shouldn't the percents be the same? Does having a decent capital position make it emotionally troublesome? Risk aversion perhaps?

  8. No, when you start trading 100K or larger positions, you can start running into liquidity problems, in that it takes a long time to accumulate your positions, and when you buy or sell, you move the price alot... hence you have to trade countertrend alot...

  9. Some traders' edge involve trading in relatively illiquid markets/instruments, and most of these strategies aren't scaleable.

  10. You'd be stupid to put 500K at the same amount of risk that you would put 10K.
