Allow me to reiterate the previous, er, truth. It gets confusing when groups of people are lumped together and it's called religion. Religions are made up of individuals who have found some commonality and prefer to walk together...until they disagree. It may be more helpful to examine the groups challenge by first examining the individual challenge. The fictional self is who we thought we were when we forgot that we were love. We may include every invented reality we used to embellish those misconceptions. For discussion, I will call this fictional self an *ego*. When a fictional aspect of personality is face to face with true existence, such questions arise as, 'Who am I? How can my projections and inventions be integrated with reality? How can these self-generated factors - unsupported by reality - be made real?'. Existence exposes truth, and it can be a great defender of our own truth if we allow it to shatter that which is not really who we are. If we persist beyond our challenges and revelations to enforce our invented reality, challenges will persist. "Sin" is just the force and mischief used to instill and empower invented realities. To the degree we make such investments, we move away from God, love, reality and access to truth. We can invest in group identities that are not real with the same results. The result is a group ego competing for position, playing a very cruel game called *judgment*. The world spends a great deal of energy on judgment, which is nothing less than a competition for invented realities. Love does not judge. Now, when you consider that judgment was the original sin, you can see that divestiture from the group ego is in your best interest. Better yet, let us divest from the individual ego(s) we continue to enforce against reality...the ones that attracted like-minded people to surround us. When you consider that death is needed only for fictional egos, then the benefits of divestiture begin to mount. Now we can consider our immortality in various ways. The good news is that all egos will perish and die...one way or another. We are graciously offered two kinds of death...both resulting in the death of fictional identities about ourselves that are not love. Physical death is the most common so far. That will be changing as people realize that we can accomplish death to fictional identities in much less dramatic fashion. In your quest to divest, fear not. Only the fictional self and the embellishments we have used to support it will perish. This is the only need that ever existed for death. Therefore, when you choose, of your own volition to kill your fictional self, you have taken the first step to recovery of your conscious immortality. By the love and grace of God, you will be led to your next step until your full and complete Sonship is recovered. For some, the process will be complete in a twinkling of an eye, and for others more patience will be required. Growth has its own curve which is unique for each individual. The hallmark of an ego is its unwillingness to forgive. This can help us identify an ego that must still die. Let us thank some individuals for refusing to forgive Danish cartoonists...for demonstrating the end result of egos identifying themselves with large groups...so we can see better. Withholding forgiveness is the egos assault against life. Only the ego judges, and through judgment it will perish. Our love will sustain our immortality because love knows nothing of judgement. Some say truth hurts. But it only hurts the ego, and never the loving self that you are. Truth is the highest consciousness, and the ever-abiding presence of God in reality. In knowing that, you know the truth which is consonant with love. The practice of discernment is part of higher consciousness. Discernment is not just a step up from judgment. In life's curriculum, it is the opposite of judgment. Through judgement, a man reveals what he still needs to confront and to learn. Through discernment, one reveals what he has mastered. Respect of reality is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. Once we have accepted God as love, and love as being one with reality, then reality become a source of comfort and enlightenment. Reality becomes the servant of your love, rather than an agent of disappointment, as it can be if you respond to it with fear. The ego is the greatest magnet for attracting danger and treachery. The ego considers anything to be true that supports its survival, just as the mind considers anything to be true which supports the supremacy of logic. As a matter of fact, the mind cannot discern fact from fiction if both are presented with equal logic. (To be continued...)
The love that you are is your real self glory. Consequently, our knowledge of true self is being destroyed by the dominance of ego. Ego is composed of all the fictions we have used to replace the love that we are. There is a misconception that the hallmarks of ego are pride and self-empowerment. Ironically, most personal fantasies have nothing to do with self esteem, but are usually the great destroyers of self esteem...such as the fantasy of unworthiness, or the fantasy of martyrdom when really there are hidden agendas, or the fantasy of compliance when really there is only fear. The hub of most egos has little to do with self-esteem, but what they all have in common is a fantasy with which love has been replaced. Creating an ego is the greatest sacrifice we have ever made! So how could more sacrifice undo that? To grant mercy is the egos sacrifice!! Our ego cannot survive the power of mercy. Mercy is about releasing all desire for vengeance. Mercy is about releasing all desire for self justification, playing games with justice. Mercy is accepting it is not in our power to make ourselves right and another wrong....when we can cease opposing another simply to dominate a situation. The ego can't survive this. Remember, the ego is the personal fiction that attempts to subvert and replace the love that you are. One of the most common fictions is unworthiness. Such ideas of self will never take us to God, and any religion that employs unworthiness as a pillar of belief will just foster ego development with a self-replenishing nature. Love is who you are! To that may be added personal viewpoints, enrichments, dreams, desires, and unique abilities. A personal viewpoint of reality is to be expected among an infinity of viewpoints of reality. While reality is constant, we can change our viewpoint of the constant. This is about freedom within infinite potential. But it is vital that you reverse the worlds view of time if you would recover your true nature of being...BEING the love that you are. The world considers history and the momentum of time to be the force and foundation behind present time experience. By that reasoning, you would certainly be what the past has made you. By contrast, the viewpoint of true being sees the past as a panorama of experience, education, goals, and desires that have finally been reduced to relative impotence. It is you who reduce the past -- not the past that produces you! Considering the timelessness of being, how could it be considered any other way? The future is the promise of completion which we remember and seek again. In that pursuit, infinite potential will supply our needs, yearnings, lessons, and alignments until at last we realize that true completion has always been, and is re-attained through liberation of desire as well as attachment. Truth is very much captive these days, needing only to be liberated from the ivory tower. It is not so much a factual truth that will set you free, as it is the realization of what truth really is. Once you learn what truth is, you have a meaningful basis for communicating with others with confidence and certainty. As you regard the truth of others, you understand how God works within the same reality to bring a different focus for each person, for different meanings, and different covenants. As we honor that balance we will look for it in ourselves as well. The miracle of truth is that it is unique for each and yet constant for all. This is relative to the universal law of mutuality that allows expansion and differences to occur in the universe or among humankind without the loss of harmony. All communication is based on this law of mutuality. If there were no mutuality between two people, there would be no sense in talking. On the other hand, without different experiences or viewpoints to share, there would still be no point of communicating! A more complete understanding of this will help us negotiate the issues of life more effectively. There is a common reality that binds us all, yet every individual has a right to his own relationship with that reality and to honor both perceptions as his complete truth. As we respect reality, we have a common ground for working with others, but as we respect the truth of another person, we learn to respect our own truth as well. The reason for the apparent conflict is that only part of any truth is ever seen externally. Complete truth is found only at the point where inner awareness and outer reality are one. An interesting thing about truth is that no matter how much external information we may possess, if we have not determined what it means for us, what we have is less than the truth, and we have no way of using it or unburdening ourselves from harsh influences. The corollary is that, no matter how well we seem to know the inner world, we do not know the truth until we know the realities the envelop and surround our life. Fictional selves have little power because they are terrified of reality. In fact, egos are so easily shattered by the light of truth that they can only endure within the shelter of a comfort zone, a bubble of support, and constant affirmation. Perhaps this explains the tendency for egos to group together under huge domes where our egos can be supported with constant affirmations...usually affirmations of unworthiness! Because you identify yourself with traditional christianity, I will note the following: The one you have heard about via the name Jesus, if you can believe it, is a brother of ours who never knew himself as anything other than what he is: Love. Having never made a judgment denying that, and having never embellished an ego as a result of that...he had a lot of love and useful truth to share. While we as yet deny that we too are love, it will be difficult to understand what he shared, or even why. By orienting our compasses toward love via reality, we might one day understand. JohnnyK
This is one of the core underlying principles of what you believe and accept and, correct me if I'm wrong, but it's all built on the idea of past lives and preexistence. This is a very big assumption. Think about this: you have written pages and pages about your theory and yet it's all built upon an assumption that has a lot of evidence against it. The mathematical aburdities of reincarnation, for example, make this a HUGE presupposition imo...
One life, many chapters. Not only past life, but all lives are simultaneous, since time is relative. Time is not the constant at the center of the universe. Can we at least agree upon that? In a reality where all is NOW, where then do we say life begins...where awareness begins....where our existence as individual beings begins? Christians are very happy to say that the life we now have never ends...either here, or there....QUALITY of life being the difference...with or without a time/space body. Time and space are effects. No? Why then should time/space (flesh) be the first cause of our existence? Reincarnation is not much different than our sleep/wake/sleep/wake cycles. Even Jesus compared death to sleep. Reincarnation was understood and integrated in the earliest christian consciousness. I can cite Origen off hand. Jesus even questioned his disciples, who they though he was...resulting in all kinds of reincarnational ideas. It was not the reincarnational ideas that were corrected...merely a correction about his actual identity. Reincarnation consciousness is not useful to institutions intending to rule by fear of death. As a non-catholic, I am wondering why you are relying on an institution that rules by fear of death to determine what are your traditions regarding reincarnation. Certainly that must be the case, because an honest look at evidence should easily convince otherwise. Asking math to prove this to you is like Thomas asking to see the marks in Jesus hands before he would believe in something so incredulous as resurrection. Why so easy to believe in resurrection, and not reincarnation? JohnnnK
I knew is was only a matter of time before you NAILED me! You have some very interesting, even if logical, observations. However, I will easily weasel my way out of it in my next post. Believe me, I'll be back!
I think it has more to do with dowsing. And I have reason to have some confidence in my ability to ferret out some things based on feelings. So the belief is in myself. I look for sources of material that resonate with the kind of person I am...determined to perceive reality innocently, without agenda, totally fearless, and able to feel agendas that thrive on fear and force, including force by deception. And I hold fear to be a totally illegitimate basis for reality. Instead I base reality on love. So it's a very feelings based dowsing method. Imagine an antenna rising down and up through several layers of dimensional reality...an antenna that IS love, tuned to love. It will resonate with messages that are more real than others. This method has served well for ten years or more so I have some confidence in it while always looking how to improve my speed and accuracy. Trading is a good teacher for this. If you don't see what's real...you lose, and you can feel that. Lately, a lot of pieces to a cosmological puzzle are coming together. as I allow a constructive discontentment with the status quo to motivate more dowsing. I start with books and get a sense of the author and their agenda. Then I look at the details and see if any can freely associate and link up with info I already have simmering on the backburners. I have a lot of details simmering on the backburners...details that I don't know what to do with...don't know if they are real...don't know how they fit in the puzzle. Free association brings those together. The second of my posts in this thread shows how I go about dowsing. I do place some confidence in others/authors if they resonate with the antenna I send up into the sky. Sometimes I like the author, but they say things I don't understand. I put that on the backburner. Reality is democratic, and available for anyone without an agenda to observe. So yes, if someone out there is saying they are seeing something, i do not assume they are trying to lie to me or deceive me. But I reserve the right to question the interpretation of what they see. Trust in others is legitimate. I respect that there are others who hold pieces to the puzzle and have something to teach. I also trust that on a two lane hiway, the other person will stay in their lane. But it is relative to how much I trust myself to drive on the right side of the road. Faith to me, is believing right action will result in the fruits I desire. So right dowsing will result in a better perspective of reality and a growing consciousness. The weight in favor of reincarnation is easily dowsed out of multiple uncorrelated sources around the globe. There are examples of children leading their parents to places they know about...places their parents know they have never been in this lifetime. That's just one example. Christians believe in the resurrection because something they fear tells them to. Otherwise, it's because four guys (four gospels), including a couple fishermen...told them they saw something and wrote it down. That is their only source! My method is similar but different. I look at contemporary channeled type of material for answers to these types of questions. I don't have much patience for speculation. Channeling is basically the way a new ager gets his news...and we are pre-Aquarius right now. And around the world, the channels are opening from the ground up and the information is flowing again. This is very grassroots and democratic. We are recovering authentic stories. In this way I am piecing together a better picture of who Jesus was, why and how he resurrected. Resurrection is not so much something to believe in...its something Jesus believed we could/would achieve...as a class. It is very much a marine mentality...no man left behind. All for one, one for all. It is a group work, and a group achievement. Jesus contribution was to break the record, change the alchemical and biological reality to better support multi-dimensionality, and to entice us to reevaluate our own potential. That is the definition of leadership, trailblazing, and pathwork. Se he is often refered to as the Master, as in total mastery of this dimension. This demonstration of multidimesionality in our plane is actually about liberation from the taskmaster type gods who have kept us under thumb. In case no one has noticed, this IS hell...war being the deepest part of hell. Actually its the other way around, hell IS war. Resurrection is a step up from reincarnation, which is a kind of resurrection. This is about intentional bio-transformation of the entire human species into its full liberated potential. Its about total liberation from all limitations. And that fits the cosmology I have been dowsing out for some years now. Some individuals have discovered and applied these things with results...including ascension. Some of these are working behind the scenes to bring the rest of humanity along. Some are channeling. We limit their ability to help us as they limit themselves within universal laws...including, this is something was must identify, want, intend and/or ask assistance for. But this resurrection is the destiny of everyone who ever chose a body to incarnate in. It is the mastery of our dimension in a multi-dimensional galaxy, and we are all working together to achieve that. No one, not one, will be left behind. There are no religious preferences. Humanity is the beneficiary. The mechanics of the resurrection were something like this: Whatever we truly love, we command. REality responds to love. Love commands the particles that make up the elemental building blocks or our bodies. If we truly love our selves, our bodies, and every cell and photon and quark in them, we command them and own the particles forever. This is the same quantum physical method the Master used to multiply fishes by loving one fish enough to change the molecular structures holding it together. To do that we must first see that love is not something we do...it is what we ARE. If we can realize this before we bio-die, we can alter our chemistry while we yet breath. This is alchemy at it's finest. When you realize that death is a clearing house for useless identies, and that identities other than what we ARE is what is killing us...then resurrection now becomes a more immediate potential. Reincarnation offers us another opportunity to realize and implement this for ourselves and others. Resurrection is part of a multi-dimensional awakening to full potential. The key is love. JohnnyK
Actually, only in the gnostic gospels which no Catholic or Protestant Christian would accept... And there's another problem: reincarnation makes Jesus' death completely unnecessary. If man can achieve enlightenment/Nirvana/godhood without the cross by going through myriad lives, then obviously there is no need for a Savior. So trust me: the great majority of orthodox Christians over the years would never even think of accepting reincarnation. I'm not saying there hasn't been anyone who hasn't flirted with it, but it all comes down to one question: does man need a Savior or not?
I don't understand: I have very little fear of death and almost never think of dying. Maybe I should a little more, but I don't. And I do not believe in an institutional church either. To evangelical Christians, the multitude of different denominations and churches is incredibly important and a protection against an institutional church (just as having different nations is a nice protection against world government).
But forget just for a minute that I'm a Christian if you can. There are many ways to explain these kind of incidents that have nothing to do with reincarnation. And that's what I'm getting at. Why accept the idea of reincarnation so casually? The New Age version of reincarnation especially does not make sense because there is so much population growth in the last 100-200 years. There is simply no way for people to have had any decent number of past lives. The only way around this, which is the eastern version of reincarnation, is to include the animal kingdom. But the New Age version only gives people a few lives which of course defeats the whole concept behind it: perfecting the soul over multiple and many past lives. I'm just asking, "Why build all your theories on something that is so mathematically weak?"
