  1. As not that many dudes seem to be capable of what you call "reason", where does that leave your "free" thinkers? Ya mean that those simply believe in what the "reasoning" dudes tell them?
    nononsense

  2. Unforgivable. The dude did his best though. He included the liberal, the marxist and the agnostic religions.

  3. if you substitute evidence for faith in your search for truth you will do just fine.

"Beliefs should be a search for truth and understanding, not denying reality so you can have faith in a compendium of books written by unknown authors over hundreds and hundreds of years complied much later by other fallible men, as 100% literally correct. That is a faith that is truly blind"

  4. You're making it more complicated now.
Dealing with evidence requires a superior form of reasoning.
You are clearly preaching for simpletons.

  5. i guess that is why god sent preachers. to deal with the simpletons.

  6. Only if you've eliminated the supernatural as a possibility, don't you think?

errr - you left out our jewish friends. id watch out because they will be down on you like a ton of bricks accusing you of implying jews shouldnt exist, you are anti-semetic etc etc

also - wot about the jedi's? my mate says hes a jedi. he actually puts it down on official forms and is waiting to sue some mutha for race hatred when they deny the authenticity of his chosen belief. no shit!

also - and i could be wrong here, but buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion as no central diety figure exists. the buddah was a human just like you!

  8. Well thats what the dalai lama says, its not a religion. So if the guy running the show says so it has some credibility.
You should have used plural for deity figures though, hindi has tonnes of them.
And anyway, who said monotheism is the way to go?
Maybe they found it was easier to convert people with only one god.

"Join us, and you will only have to keep one god happy! No more offerings to half a dozen gods, weve centralised the collection process to bring YOU savings!
No more multi level marketing, just one goat a year-and your firstborn child, if you do something wrong. Our religion utilizes the latest in business practise, and this efficiency means you dont even have to learn to read!!
Just turn up to our weekly seminars, and well tell you what to do! Bargain!

Oh, and you will be ostracised from your community and probably murdered if you dont.
Thanks for coming along today, be sure to empty your pockets on the way out.
    See you next week-or else."

  10. Is Marxist really a religion? Maybe more of a ideology? Marxist is basis for communism, and commusism tends to lean towards elimination of seperation. So, communism would have no religions because it would seperate the people.
