Your President is a Dog "NOW"

  1. Give Bush some credit. He knows that the weapons inspectors won't find anything so he's looking for a way out of the Iraq mess. This is a positive step that will hopefully stop the momentum of an attack on Iraq. Now, the US will be able to backtrack and focus on the real 9/11 culprits living large in Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Pakistan. Good job, Dubya!

  2. Too late now -- we're passed the point of no return.

  3. The return IS quite simple, the question is whether or not it is going to happen. Saddam could announce that for the good of his peoples whom he loves so much, and to prevent a war which will undoubtedly be lost, he is agreeing to leave the country and release his cabinet from their obligations.

To facilitate the smoothest transition of power, he could call on the U.N. to send a monitoring team to oversee the upcoming elections. He could easily say that the evil Americans will not defeat his country or kill another innocent child in the name of this plot to overthrow his government. He could say, "President Bush will not get a victory over our peoples. He will recognize the Iraqi will and determination to be a world citizen."

With that said, America would easily have to alter its course. To evidence his intentions, he could easily set a short timeframe (say 30 to 45 days) in which he will exile himself to another place. He could gather all the fractions for the upcoming election and set them about the business of identifying themselves to the Iraqi peoples so they would be informed about their choices. And then, he could gracefully fade away! :)
