Religious and Medical Exemptions are tough to get...both require individuals to reveal very personal (private) details about their life and give the employer access to questions about issues the employee may think will be used against them if management was not aware of their personal (private) life. Very few religions in the world have issues with vaccines and its tough to prove a medical issue unless you had a prior health problem that was caused by a medical treatment that contained an ingredient being used in the available vaccine. For example, in my case, due to medical treatments / severe allergic reaction in the fall of 2016 when I was hospitalized for sepsis pneumonia / double pneumonia / coma...I have a well-documented allergic reaction to certain medications that caused my heart to stop twice while in a coma. Fast forward to 2021, my Doctor tells me I'm not suitable for J&J and Astra Zeneca. If those were the only vaccines available... I would have a legitimate claim to a Medical Exemption from vaccination if I worked for someone that mandated Covid vaccination or I wanted to travel abroad and the airlines required vaccination. Yet, that doesn't remove me from the responsibility of having weekly Covid tests and that's problematic because many of these people seeking religious & medical exemptions are individuals that also do not want to do weekly Covid tests... Simply, they're asswipes intentionally threatening the welfare, health, and safety of their community. End of story - My Doctor and I did our research...Pfizer and Moderna were determine to be suitable for me. I'm fully vaccinated with Moderna but I did have complete physicals & blood chemistry work the 30 days prior to vaccination and again the 30 days after vaccination because of my medical history with a severe allergic reaction to ingredients in medical treatments and to ingredients in the FLU vaccine. wrbtrader
Remember the clown Dan Bongino who defied Cumulus Radio to kick him off the air over the corporate vaccine mandate. Let's see the result of his nonsense. Bongino's vaccine mandate feud with Cumulus radio escalates as conservative pundit goes off air Bongino recently said Cumulus Media can either rescind mandate that employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or he'll quit. https://justthenews.com/accountabil...ulus-radio-escalates-conservative-pundit-goes The disagreement between conservative talk show host Dan Bongino and Cumulus Media over the company's vaccination mandate appears to have escalated with Bongino going off air this week. Bongino earlier this monthsaid on airand on social media that Cumulus, which distributes his show, can either rescind its mandate that employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or he'll quit. "You can have me or you can have the [vaccine] mandate," he tweeted. "But you can't have both of us." The weekday show has been off air Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and reruns of his live show have instead been aired in his slot, according to the Washington Examiner. Bongino said this week on his podcast that negotiations with Cumulus were turning "ugly." "It's unfortunately an ugly fight," he said Wednesday. "I wish it weren't. But some of the people who have been fired from Cumulus, their stories are piling in, and they're pretty disturbing." Bongino is vaccinated but is opposed to vaccination mandates. Cumulus Media did not respond to the Washington Examiner's request for comment.
Finally someone with a brain in DC. Biden admin barred from firing unvaccinated employees after DC judge issues injunction The attorney for the plaintiffs said the Biden administration has shown 'an unprecedented, cavalier attitude toward the rule of law' https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-admin-vaccine-employees-judge-injunction
Religious exemptions are extremely difficult to verify...its proper that those seeking a religious exemption should temporarily not be terminated from employment while they're seeking a religious exemption. I know a guy in the Special Forces and stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. He's a Catholic, his family is Catholic and he participates in many Catholic charities when he's not on duty. The Catholic Church has stated they will not approve religious exemptions and determined that it is “morally acceptable” for Catholics to take these vaccines against the COVID-19 Virus. Yet, he's asked for a religious exemption under the Church of Christ as his way to try to get a religious exemption. It will be tough (almost impossible) to be approve of such for him because his Priest will in the Catholic Church will be ask to sign documents that verifies when he left the Catholic Church and verify he has disconnected from the charities his family has organized. In the mean time, he can get that temporary court order to prevent him from being kicked out of the military. Yet, as I stated... it's going to be very tough for him to verify he's a member of the Church of Christ...his timely switch from Catholicism will be problematic for him considering he has no history with the Church of Christ. Church of Christ has agreed to accept him into their church but he and his family must leave behind their Catholic faith. The Church of Christ is known to be losing a lot of members to the Catholic Church in the past decade. They will happily take a Catholic family. Yet, back to the military... ---------- Recently released vaccine directives make it clear that requests for such exemptions will be closely scrutinized, especially when the applicant has willingly received other shots, according to Military.com. ---------- The above implies that if they're approved for exemption from a Covid vaccine...they will not be allowed to be part of their unit when it deploys abroad for any peacekeeping mission, overseas training along the fact they will not qualify to be promotable... That's a lonely road to travel and the comrades that they serve with...they know you and your faith history. They will know exactly the bullshit a soldier is doing with trying to get a religious exemption especially the way he's trying to do it via switching religious faith for the Covid vaccine when he has not done the same for all the other vaccines he's taken in the past when he joined the military and deployed abroad. wrbtrader
"Commander-in-chief" they said... Joe should just ignore court orders by "activist judges" like the last guy did
you know it's being abused as a cop-out by anti-vaxxers. These are the same guys that rail about immigrants abusing the refugee system. If troops are found out to be lying/insincere about their claim (I honestly don't know of any religion objecting to needles short of maybe Jehova's witnesses) they ought to be further slapped with perjury and penalties for costing the taxpayer in judicial costs.
So a mere District Judge ruled that the government must complete processing of any religious exemption paperwork an employee files before they can be terminated. The ruling does not mean very much. First of all many anti-vaxxers have not filed for any exemptions so they can be terminated quickly at the deadline. Second many of the religious exemption requests are merely full of political talking points about "freedum" and nothing religious -- these exemption requests can quickly be dismissed as per the EEOC guidance this week.
It's obvious what some are doing when they try to get a religious exemption while as military personnel. All soldiers are vaccinated upon entry into the military and again when deploy abroad because other countries require a different vaccine due to diseases in that countries region. This is no different than someone joining the military, enjoying the military benefits, excepting the thousands of dollars in bonus money for serving additional years... Then when there's a War...suddenly they develop a philosophy or consciousness that they will not fight and request to stay stateside while their fellow soldiers are being shipped out overseas for battle. It's a type of cowardness that I've never accepted and these types of soldiers need to be weeded out of the military. Requesting a religious exemption... While there's a temporary appeal, they must submit a written request to their commanding officer and then meet with both a military physician and chaplain as that request moves up the chain of command. Their chaplain will call bullshit on those that suddenly switch religions to a religion that does not approve of vaccines when the Covid vaccinations were ordered. The military physician will verify that they were in fact vaccinated with other vaccines in the past when they joined the military and each time they deployed abroad. wrbtrader
There are a few religions the Church of Christ and the Dutch (something) but those individuals typically do not join the United States Armed Forces because of the known anti-vaccination policy for the religion. Soldiers that are not career soldiers will just be weeded out naturally because they will not qualify for any promotions nor be able to attend military exercises while not vaccinated. Those with families will be moved out of the on base housing because they're a threat to the health & safety of other military families living on base. wrbtrader
Here is a new twist on mandatory employer vaccinations. Those who got J&J must get a second dose. Employees of New Jersey hospital mandated to get COVID booster shot https://abc7ny.com/new-jersey-newark-booster-shots-coronavirus/11178396/ There is a new dimension to vaccine mandates at University Hospital in Newark, where certain employees are now under orders to get a booster shot. Workers who originally received a Johnson and Johnson shot must roll up their sleeves again by December 24. This is because the Johnson and Johnson vaccine loses its effectiveness faster than the other formulas. Employees can pick from among any of the available boosters.
