Still shoveling the nonsense that minorities have a much lower vaccination rate than Whites, eh? For all the people trying to claim the percentage of minorities vaccinated are a lot less than whites -- it ain't true. You will have to take your MAGA narrative somewhere else. While at the same time you should recognize the largest unvaccinated cohort in number in the U.S. are white Republicans -- far exceeding any other group in size. White House touts success in vaccinating African Americans, Latinos https://news.yahoo.com/white-house-...ting-african-americans-latinos-202743688.html The White House is publicizing new findings that suggest the months-long effort by federal, state and local public health officials to reach African Americans and Latinos is showing the intended results, with coronavirus vaccination rates for those groups on par with that for white Americans. “We know our work isn’t done, but this is important progress,” said Jeff Zients, the White House pandemic response team coordinator, during a Tuesday briefing. Zients cited a recent survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation that shows near-identical vaccination rates across ethnic groups: 71 percent for white Americans, 70 percent for African Americans and 73 percent for Latinos. Since the pandemic began, social and economic inequality have only exacerbated the ravages of COVID-19, leading some to describe it as a “racial pandemic.” When vaccines first became available, a racial gap also emerged, leading some to worry that people of color would be left out of the vaccination drive. “There were many reasons for this gap, including barriers to vaccine access, and some still had concerns about the safety, the efficacy, of the vaccines,” said Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith, a health equity expert at Yale University who is a member of the White House coronavirus task force, at Tuesday’s briefing. “And those concerns were often rooted in misinformation,” she said, an apparent reference to falsehood-ridden outreach campaigns to Black communities by anti-vaccine advocates who preyed on the history of institutional racism to build a dubious case against the coronavirus vaccine. Nunez-Smith noted that a Pew Research Center survey of 10,000 adults, as well as a survey of 19,000 adults by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, yielded results hewing closely to the Kaiser Family Foundation’s findings. “It’s very, very encouraging to see,” she said. Some have criticized the administration’s focus on equity, arguing that an age-based approach would have been speedier. The administration countered by saying that it would be fast and fair, offering incentives and partnering with Black churches and hair salons, among other institutions. Later, the Biden administration instituted vaccination mandates, which have affected millions of public- and private-sector employees. Encouraging signs that the racial vaccination gap was closing appeared in the summer. Yet even as that gap closes, the overall vaccination campaign is now seeing the lowest daily uptake since the Biden presidency began.
Yep----the minority vaccination rate is much lower than the white vaccination rate. --Never hear about that though---
Sorry Cowboy, but that article only makes my point. If things have improved in the last month, then that is great. Otherwise, up until this month and in many communities the media has been wall to wall pushing the allegation that minorities have lower rates. If the government and minorities are moving past the pre-canned Tuskeegee excuse then good. As I said, it is bullshiite. Move past bullshiite and better things happen. See how it works. And that was my point. And if a lower vaccine rate for minorites scenario exists or existed. That narrative is 100% on your lefty ilk and the government. Article below, the first of many to pop up on search, being Exhibit A, and no I did not read it. Oh, I see. It is a couple weeks old. MY BAD. I do not keep a covid news ticker tape in my living room so do not see what today's narrative is. I guess minorities have suddenly recovered from a century of Fake Tuskeegee Vaccine Syndrome in the last month. Or maybe the government and many businesses just mandated the vaccine or offered a day off and a free pizza. Yeh. Biden was reaching back into colonial times and white supremacy as his first knee jerk approach. As he does for everything. Yeh. September 9 date on this article. The latest evidence says vaccine requirements work as intended The White House's critics have said vaccine requirements don't work. There's a growing body of evidence that suggests they're wrong. https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow...s-vaccine-requirements-work-intended-n1280344 t was three weeks ago when President Joe Biden unveiled an ambitious new policy on Covid-19 vaccinations, affecting tens of millions of American workers. Among the questions raised by skeptics was whether vaccine requirements are effective. The White House's critics, of course, said requirements don't work. There's a growing body of evidence that suggests they're wrong. A Washington Post analysis explained this morning: Many of these mandates were announced this summer and are reaching deadlines, meaning they provide a good barometer for how effective the mandates are. United Airlines was one of the first big companies to adopt a mandate, and it announced this week that 98.5 percent of employees have been vaccinated. In a memo to United employees last week, the company pointed to the evidence and said, "Vaccine requirements work." The evidence appears to bolster the point. The Post's analysis included an impressive list of data from hospital systems, "where there has been strong compliance" in response to vaccine requirements. The same piece added, "Tyson Foods announced a vaccine mandate in early August. Since then, its vaccination rate has gone from 50 percent to 80 percent, with the deadline still more than a month away. There's no shortage of related reports. In the state of Washington, Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee announced a vaccine requirement for state workers, at which point the weekly vaccination rate jumped 34 percent. Around the same time, Fox News reported that more than 90 percent of its full-time works reported that they were fully vaccinated after the company required employees to report their vaccination status or undergo regular testing. The Defense Department, which recently announced that vaccinations are required, said that 95 percent of the military has now had at least one shot. To be sure, there are exceptions. Some communities are facing shortages in which key workers — including those who work with children — would rather lose their jobs than do the responsible thing. But by and large, the evidence is in line with both common sense and American history: When people are told their careers are at risk if they refuse to get vaccinated, they'll grudgingly do the right thing, which in turn helps everyone. A recent FiveThirtyEight piece noted that vaccine requirements can be difficult to implement, but the policies are effective, legal, and "a really powerful public health tool." Or as the Post's analysis concluded, "It might make people resent being forced to do something they don't want to or hadn't yet decided to do. But the evidence also increasingly suggests that it spurs that vast majority of the resistant ultimately to comply, hard feelings or not."

Another morning and another day that GWB floods the boards with Covid/Anti-Vaxx propaganda attempting to control the narrative.
Ain't it the truth. Just the fact that the everyone must vax fanatics are on this never ending drumbeat and completely dismiss any and all alternatives is what makes reasonable people suspicious of some underlying motive. Obviously there is more going on here than concern for health issues. It's about power and control.
Then why did you get vaccinated? Twice. You did the right thing. But, evidently, you don't think so. As for "alternatives," what? Chanting? Prayer? Horse dewormer?
When people start dying in huge numbers because there are not enough nurses and doctors to care for them, flights delayed or cancelled, law and order breaks down because there are not enough police, emergency services not responded to in a timely manner, US forces not able to counter terrorist threats because there are not enough navy seals to go around, these extreme liberals will get hit with their dose of karma soon enough. Joe Biden and his ilk forcibly, getting people fired because of his vaccine mandates will have that catastrophic result soon enough. It is like the Titanic which hit that huge iceberg. Only a matter of time.
I got vaccinated because it was the prudent thing for me to do given my personal circumstances. People should be able to choose is all I'm saying. And there are alternatives, some as simple as lifestyle changes, others in treatments like Ivermectin which have proven to be effective in some circumstances. It's just the complete resistance to anything other than the vax which has people suspicious. Quite suddenly we have seen the very same people who never trusted big pharma, the government, any establishment in general, all of them now completely truthful and trustworthy. It's bullshit.
