I dropped to the neurotic word if it makes you feel better, although it has merit here. Averages mean nothing. Tell us how many posts you wrote in the past 48 hours? Trader28 doesn't need a shrink. He's on the road to recovery.
<i>"Tell us how many posts you wrote in the past 48 hours?"</i> Well, a helluva lot more than I normally would have if you'd not dropped in to visit me. But why ask the obvious? A doctor like you can easily see how badly I crave the attention.
<i>"Trader28 doesn't need a shrink. He's on the road to recovery"</i> Recovery from what? He seems perfectly fine to me
<b>Spyder</b>, I'll invest my 1,000th career post (milestone) here with you, someone I highly respect. One gets all kinds when working with the public in this profession. Once upon a time back in 2000 - 2001 when I worked with an option-based website, I actually got death threat emails for writing bearish market commentary. The good "doctor" here can never come close to flames I enjoyed back in "the day" when insanity reigned supreme. Have a great evening, and best trading wishes to all this week as always!
Another career poster.Do you get paid per post by ET? You've been at it since 2003. But I see practice doesn't make perfect in all cases.
Wow, you guys sure had some fun while I was out all day! lol. This makes A LOT of sense now that 'magic' has told us he is a doctor. Most doctors out there think they are know it all's and when they fall flat on their face after losing their ass in the markets, they need to do something to feel superior and comfort the fact that just b/c the business card says PhD does not mean you can take over the markets. Why do you think he's asking Austin to post his charts and indicators? He's desparate, obviously looking for attention and would love to actually make money in the markets. How's that doc? Pretty good psycho-anaylsis from a gambler! It's kinda funny actually... when I was a stockbroker, I despised working with doctors simply b/c they thought they were always right and in the end, they would lose their shirts until they decided to actually take advice from a professional. This little banter between Magic and Austin is no different - the doc agitated Austin and others while trying to display just how intelligent and smart he really is and then after stirring the pot, he asks Austin to prove he's a good trader by posting his charts so the doc can simply try to copy them for himself. Doc, aka magic, sooner or later you will realize that your PhD doesn't mean sh*t in the markets. You can come on here and try to feel better about yourself and as I said earlier, misery loves company so I'm sure there's a few others on ET that will be happy to join in your pity party. Good Trading!
