That guy makes $300K/day on average from the market? What does he trade? What's his account size and/or his average trade bet size? Average % returns per trade? I assume he's not a scalper, but understands the overall movement of the day?
He’s been trading a long long time and knows the tape and risk management beyond human! https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/trading-as-an-art-form.360259/#post-5422182
Yeah, the 1m chart was posting not one but two big ol black and white "Buy MEEE" triggers one at 9fittyo'clock and another one to boot at 10:04. Tree fell where nobody could hear it over here and didn't make a sound, lol. No matter... What is important - and please CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, You regularly and repeatedly and with an overall positive P/L above and beyond your reasonable doubt, trade stock moves using buy to enter Calls sometimes, and other times might even use buy to enter Puts. Not combos of the above but all one or all the other at a time. e.g. TPT executed a buy to enter calls for a zillion of em, and cashed out 30 minutes later with 10 zillion profit. True? A Fan
He's been trading since 1998, I've been trading loosely around since 2008. "Trading as an art form" ....I've been saying that all along, trading can definitely be an art form. Part art, part science. I read somewhere he only makes money about 50% of the time....that is a low accuracy level. But with excellent trade management and self-awareness, somone can still carve out a nice profit with options daily.
I don't even know what Pairs Trade means, I had to quickly look it up before typing this reply. As I've said before, I'm a basic directional buyer, trader. No hedging. But having strong conviction, and watching it like a hawk. I would probably Fail a trading, finance, exam. I don't know a lot of strategies and terminologies. But I certainly know trading the S&P, on a daily scale. That's my one and only specialty, understanding, expertise.
