This is just not reality based on the data though. I don't care what the media says, I try to tune out as much of the media as possible. The data is the data though and it is pretty clear based on data that old people are the people in danger and young people just are not. Actually, Sweden is the best example for this since they made it a point to take an evidence based approach from the start. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1107913/number-of-coronavirus-deaths-in-sweden-by-age-groups/ We have avoided the real tragedy of overrunning the health care system and in order to do that we had to pretend that we are all risk to get people to comply with shutting down. I mean this doesn't seem like rocket science to me.
Fine, except that you’re referring to false data. Younger people are also at risk and are dying. https://www.google.ca/search?q=Youn...D-19&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-ca&client=safari
So NYC and Sweden both came up with the same false data with the same age distributions? You really can't see that this is the madness of crowds and you are not being rational?
Indeed , much if the news have been propaganda lately. I m surprised how people are genuinely afraid for their young kids ( i have 2 of them, never was afraid for them of this virus) , and try to keep them isolated. Looking at the numbers it looks like the very young are more at risk of dying of a meningitis of unknown cause than of the coronavirus, and possibly also of flu. I suspect if they read that in the news daily many parents wouldn t be able to cope with the stress.
What is definetely harmful to kids is the quarantine and lockdown, especially the strict ones as enforced in Spain for instance.
He is referring to false date but you can t even find any hard data to show as a counter example ? Any statistic showing the rate of death linked to coronavirus in the youth so they should even begin to care about it, at least when considering their own health ? Insanity how people got scared and some are still trying to lock their kids airtight.
First order thinking. Yes, children are reportedly more resilient to the effects of the virus. But what happens when they come home to their parents and other older relatives in their immediate family?
. That is a different point. Many are now afraid their children do get sick and die, also many young people are afraid for their own health. My kids school is loaded with expats, like us, families with no old relatives nearby to harm and so many of the parents are still afraid to have their kids have any outside contact after them being locked in for almost 7 weeks. This goes to show that good old propagamda still works fine
