The word God is merely a placeholder for an origin of existence or an unmoved mover until manmade religion attaches its own meanings to it. Unless you defend parabels and miracles and anthropomorphisize "God" its the agnostic camp you're in. You don't expect that your beliefs are unique in all history do you, that would be bizzare.
I don't think you'd get it if I did. Questioning the intolerance and prejudices justified by religious belief, according to you is ranting and raving and, (ignoring the irony) only a crusade to belittle or fustigate it. With that kind of closed mindedness I doubt much could ever be explained to you.
"I don't think you'd get it if I did." Did he or didn't he? Or Did you or didn't you? You are not suggesting there was no first attack, are you?
I feel like I'm having the argument over how many angels can dance upon a pin top. I'm a believer by evidence, logic and faith so far thus experienced but I'm also agnostic in the truest sense of the word because I cannot "prove" God's existence scientifically any more than you can prove his non-existence to myself or others. Is that really complicated for you to grasp. fyi: Making man the measure of all things is bound to give one some interesting errors of inductive reasoning.
Humor me and do it anyway or the board will justly conclude you a blowhard with a chip on his shoulder guilty of "projection". Like I said, I will apologize if you make a reasonable case of myself having draw first blood on this thread .
I said, you wouldn't get it . The board will conclude what it likes, despite what you decide. The board can read of your stated intolerance by the impatient religious argument you made and the narrow mindedness with those who question religion, which within a few posts included the usual sign of prejudice animosity and ignorance that goes along with things religion decides you don't like. The âprojectingâ has already been done. The derogatory labeling of those who donât fall for the false claims too. You did both at the start of our exchange. I don't want, seek, nor care for your apology. I'm questioning the presumptions and conclusions made only because of religious belief , and because of it, I say you wonât be any the more likely to get it now either.
You don't need a church to have a prayer. It was clearly proved in Egypt. Furthermore if churches were open to the poors, maybe... As I know they are privat propreties... and as such are to sole responsability of the owner.
