Your statement is fundamentally untrue. This thread's basis was not founded on the fact there is no god. The OP's opening statement confirms it wasn't. Your argument is pure and simply a logical fallacy described as an argument from ignorance. The premise of this thread was about churches foreclosing. It's your subsequent argument about -God cannot be disproved- which is irrelevant. It is based on a fallacy. I don't know or care what the OP's overall intent was. Someone asked him and he made it perfectly clear what his intent was, and it was nothing like what you are subsequently saying it is. I see now you've made a mistake but can't own up to it. Perhaps because your religious convictions forbid recognition of anything that criticizes them. Obviously faith in a higher power is being woefully overestimated, as it is not extending to the bailing out of churches from foreclosing. A little quantitative fleecing of the flock might have helped rather than relying on the obvious and woeful inadeqacies of religious faith to avoid the impending stony ground which apparently now awaits those churches. The only thing missing here is your acknowledgment of the false statement you made and soon, a whole bunch of churches too by the sound of things.
