You for one , turned it around to a logical fallacy , an appeal to ignorance, by starting this nonsense:

what a cop out , besides I thought you said we have ways of verifying God's existence . Please describe those techniques.

you can twist it around however you find convenient. but "Free Thinker" was attempting to say (as he did in subsequent follow up posts directly) that "if God did exist, why does he let his churches fail".
