  2. JUST REMEMBER with a positive outlook and a clear headed thinking despite all the bad things around you I am lot more powerful than you are.

I know I can stop trading any day, pull out get cash and watch this thing go down if its going to go down. But the fact is there is so much beinng done that its unlikely we will meet real hardships in an election year politics.

Read the book " The sucessful Investor" by William J O' Neil and he talks about these times we are facing now and how to handle them/ Great read.

  3. Yeah I read that and I already know what a pathetic bunch of doom and gloom prophets hanging out in January winter with a bottle of vodka and all they can see is dark clouds on the horizon.

Had this bunch met in sunny RIO DE JANERIO, outlook may have been different. We may have some lesser doom and gloom.

You have to understand there is nothing to benifit from doom and gloom. You have to take actions and change things and if you can't change your circumstances you better give into that doom and gloom and be done with it.

  4. These guys aren't doom and gloom. They are simply calling it as they see it.

Putting your head in the sand and ignoring the situation, or worse, refusing to believe the situation regardless of how much evidence there is, is simply economic suicice eventually.

  6. Making money in a bull market is lot easier than a bear market punctuated by rate cuts and impromptu rallies and blocked by retail investors fighting and screaming bloody murder. Stocks can only go down to zero and nothing more while in a bull market there is no limit to the upside and retail investors help you all the way.

  7. The picture coming out of that Winter Haven is pure doom and gloom end of the world, sky is falling, nothing left to live for...its over and we should all shave and go home. These outlooks are as gloomy as the winter in Europe.

Is this the world we live in? Softies to the core? Can't handle any adversity in life? Can take life and challenge it back for what its dishing at you at the moment ?

I have lived through 3 recessions, 3 real estate meltdowns and each time with the Grace of God came out stronger and much wiser. So this time around if it comes no big deal. We are already in a real estate recession created by our frozen + greedy + idiotic consumer. So whats the big deal ?

Lets not screw up our stock market with these mindless FEARS and DREAD, we might than just commit ourselves to this abyss and be done with it and get roasted like a turkey. That will be a real shame won't it?

So if those guys in Davos just make some positive affirmations in the mirror when they shave in the morning all the problems will go away?

  9. I can tell them what to do, but I dont subscribe to doom and gloom and depressive psychosis. Unless I have empirical evidence with facts and figures that clearly point to a recession and end of the world, they are just like fortune tellers in a dark alley.
