  2. That might be your own mathematical assumption, but to your trade history indeed it meets your r:r optimization in some trades, but particularly early on here, TJ, I am the master of my trades and my followers call me Quant Master. You are about to lay down under the train before it even gets there, and whether you understand the mathematics it is only sound basic logic, three lower highs in a row with one lower low means a huge move to the upside will continue well passed 4.87% just to get to a point where I'd even think about selling my longs through pairs volatility analysis, and whether that happens, a lone trade monster beneath the wall of the boundaries of the ocean hit the deep well that was formed and that makes an insanely more amount of money than the r:r's ever will. Thus, you are going to get blown out of your shorts for the same unmathematical philosophical prose I can see in your system, but it will never make as much money back up as far as the eye can see from here buddy.

Just as you optimized for the best entry, the best entry is not necessarily the right entry. In fact, in philosophical terms quite opposite of what you've been mining on these r:r's are so far up I can't wait to back the truck up on $3.5 million of NQ futures. If I win Battle Fin T6 and compete professionally then I'll be eligible for Elite.

  3. DIA 30m. Fulfills your crit and dropped 300 from there, no significant upticks, and it never went positive.

  4. Thanks for your post. Could you please explain what you have in mind in your own technical language? If it is mathematical language it is good with me. Go to the meat of the problem. Do not be concerned about me not understanding equations/etc. Write as if you were speaking to Einstein (The mention of Einstein here is not to endorse publications under his name, but just because he seems to be known in association with maths).

  5. I am very impressed by your number, and I wish you more. If I were asked what I would do with just 1 million, I would have started a business. In the finance area, it seems to me that Buffet's model is good. I am surprised that there are not people who replicated his model already, as it seems to me to be straightforward.

  7. I would be looking at a very different chart on NQ going 4 months back and meant higher lows not lower highs.

go back and review ,search , enter bpatson, almost every comment is the anti guy, heavy negative overtone, you're a mr knowitall, like the senate ,congress, fed, treasury, executive branch, pretty much everyone in charge is of the knowitall syndrome, fact is that there is no such thing as a know it all,it's also a fact that there is a large part of our society, mostly the one's running things, but not exclusively, that are part of a secret knowitall society, that they don't even know they belong to,yet they look for people of like minds to put in charge of things, this small easily remedied belief is rampant, the thing they all lack like pants and a shirt(king has no clothes) is humility, real traders or at least ones that have learned to stop blowing accts, have been tempered by the truth, buy high sell low or vice versa enough times that they realized that they were the problem, and changed themselves, then there are those who never figure it out that post ad nauseum on the blogs with negative barbs, saying see there , i told you so,not knowing they are part of a secret club, and just never catching on, slowly ,painfully going thru life as assholes and not knowing how to change it, after a long enough time , the ego wins and they just give up,they just become a huge bane on society and are happy to make up that slotted, disdaine part of society, the what an asshole club ,more power to ya,everyone has a point where life is satisfying, is that where you settled in

When speaking of lower highs and higher lows, I think most traders mean swing highs/lows on their chosen chart, not highs/lows of individual price bars.

I don't know it all, I'm just trying to help you. You seem to be a blowout waiting to happen, since it looks like you break every possible trading rule out there. Always having a bias, trading what you think and not what you see, averaging down losers, letting your losers run, cutting your winners, fighting the trend, fighting the fed, etc. That is a recipe for disaster and I think your performance this year shows it.
