The law abiding citizens own or work-in businesses such as retail stores. I would strongly urge these people to arm themselves and shoot any looters who show up to burn and steal. ... and yes, they would still be law abiding and protected under law in doing so. This type of direct action by armed law-abiding citizens would quickly end the looting.
