  1. Another idiot.

The DoD budget that Obama requested and got approved for FY-2010 is a +4% increase over Bush's previous DoD budget.

This is the highest defense budget in real terms since WW-2, even exceeding the peak years of the Reagan era defense build up.

But leave it to idiots like Maxpi not to want to deal in FACTS.

    :p

  2. I had extensive conversations with a simpleton in 2003 about how clinton "destroyed the military". The idiots in this country think Clinton ruined the military and tough guy Bush came in and kicked ass.

  3. Yes, you are correct on the procedure.

The problem with "un-documented or multi-documented" (for the record, I would love to become un-documented), is when the billing system tries to collect via judgements or garnishments, they are trying to collect from Casper the Ghost. So, for all intent and purpose, the greater percentage of medical billings on un-documented individuals goes uncollected.

I am speculating that ObamaCare does not / will not address this loop-hole on one of their voting blocks.

  4. While it is my opinion that the US Senate currently is inhabited by 95 "idiots", are Gregg and Grassley on your list because of some slight to Mr. Obama ?

  5. I agreed with you that most without Ins/Illegals don't pay their ER bills

We agree on that, the next question is what do we do ?Do we change ER rules and they no longer have to treat anybody without Ins ?Are we supposed to start letting people die outside ER'S ?

  6. It would seem obvious that the genesis of this particular problem involves medical service for individuals who are not legally entitled to be in the US of A........

Therefore the issue, in my opinion, is how does the nation deal with it.

    I believe we should acknowledge, that as a nation we have a special relationship with our neighbors to the north and the south, and commerce and individuals should be able to move as quickly and red-tape free as possible, while still keeping control and documentation. { and this freedom of movement should / must be reciprocal, which regarding Mexico, it is not}

    I would propose the following:

    1) Open offices on the southern side of the border, in which all economic "travelers" could easily obtain a "workers visa", which would also act as their official ID, and would be valid for say 12 months. They must then purchase a medical insurance policy , similar to the policies available when one travels to Europe.

    2) The individuals who find employment on a "workers visa" would pay all applicable payroll taxes, but would recieve no benefits, such as unemployment, social security, etc.. This would be the cost of a quick and documented entry into the USA.

    3) If within the 12 month period, the individual did not run afoul of the law, did not leave any unpaid bills, etc., then the "workers visa" would be easily extended.

    4) The sanctions on the individual and employers who hire any worker without proper documentation must be swift and expensive.

    5) If an individual requires medical treatment, and does not have
verifiable identification, they should be arrested as soon as stable and deported. If the un-documented individual could prove that they were working (illegally), then the employer should be responsible for the medical bills.

  7. 2012 will make Perot's 1992 run look tame. By then things will be so fucked up, and the population so disgusted with Washington, that any decent third party will get about 40% and that's all they will need. (and if the electoral college gets in the way, things will really get ugly.) I see Obama and the repub candidate getting low 30% each.

I hereby nominate Chuck Hagel! Though he will need a hispanic or woman as VP.

    Any other suggestions?

  10. Interesting and i would support it but I believe we should be much harder on Illegals

To stop the Illegal immigration problem you have to make the illegals here want to leave and others from wanting to come.Simple solution, make it a serious crime to be here illegally.Every illegal immigrant has 6 months to declare themselves illegal and voluntarily leave. After 6 months its a felony with 10 years prison with no possibility of parole.Illegals would be running to get out of the US imo
