Some more smart stuff from the intellectual bunch: "The $787 billion economic stimulus package has created or saved between 1.7 million and 2 million jobs, but its impact on the economy ebbed slightly in the final quarter of 2009 compared with prior months, the White House said Tuesday night."
Yes, it's always more helpful to criticize the guy who is trying to fix the problem rather than the guy who caused it. Where were you when Bush was playing his violin?
'Trying'? Is that where the Nobel Prize comes into play? How about you simply show us where all these jobs created are? Or will this be just like your hateful rhetoric thread...can't find any? Your no negro dialect hero can't seem to do it so he's decided to change the catch phrase from "saved or created" to "funded".
I'd estimate that the stimulus money saved 500 jobs here at my business, maybe even saved the whole business (assuming no stimulus money had been spent by any other country either). These things are tough to calculate, too many "what ifs". It's probably a good thing the estimates have been innaccurate (as far as we know) because increasing the accuracy means government would be spending more money on the exercise, which is a waste anyway. Anyone can see that if all actors leave the marketplace, government can temporarily recreate a market.
Trying to fix the problem? Do you seriously think Obama is trying to fix the problem? Barack Hussein Obama passed a $787 billion porkulus package to pay off his political cronies.
Perhaps you should get reacquainted with the stimulus bill chronology: http://www.stimuluspackagedetails.com/total.html
Just think...if McCain would've won...she would only be pulling is 208k per year in her salary (plus a $10k taxable expense allowance) All you people that hate Palin can thank yourselves for gossiping about her so much that Fox thought it was a good idea to pay her so much. If you democrats just stopped talking about her, she would've been forgot about already.
